The one true and living God is the one who created all life. These life systems are not a product of a evolutionary process. The little we understand has played a tragic role in believing the lie that there is no God. The complexities and interdependence of life is not a product of a few basic elements that manifested themselves. One day all will know the truth that Jesus is God. God created you and created carbon, nitrogen, oxygen and every other element. He designed every dna structure. Give glory to God that He loves His creation so much that He would not let us be lost to our ignorance. Believe in Him who wants you to come back to Him. Please don’t be blinded by your own understanding!!❤❤❤ You are dearly loved!!!❤❤❤ Please consider this message!! I want to see you in the kingdom of God. ❤❤❤

What’s the ballpark price tag for this restoration?
@symbiosistx29 күн бұрын
It depends on the context. This one was a total moonscape, we had no access to water, electricity, couldn't use animals and nobody living on site. The clients wanted to see results fast. This lead to us taking a more expensive approach and throwing everything we could think of within the allowed parameters at it. I'm not going to give an exact number, I don't actually have it, but it was comparable to what folks would spend on high end landscaping around their homes, the big difference here being that it covers the entire 13 acre property, not just the area around the home and is going to be very low maintenance.

This video is life changing for me. Seeing what’s possible with a highly knowledgable and passionate team really encourages me to take that leap into making a career out of my passion for regenerative practices and projects. I need to be around people who share that passion and have the skills and knowledge I may lack and I think seeing the scale of impact it can have when you become part of a network has shifted me in the right direction. This will no longer be a silent passion of mine and big thanks to you guys for putting out content!

I reckon that tractor is going too fast,,,,go slower for more efficient ripping with that type of plow. I noticed its an initial rip where you did not go down far, less than half the tyne depth. Once you start getting a deeper rip to full tyne depth its important to drive just above walking pace to get the "ship's bough" efffect underground. The ships bough effect is getting a nice thin slice through theupper layers of soil, a good "bowl" shape of cracking or "soil dispersal" where the plows shoe travels through.

Such an amazing team. The knowledge of this group is astounding. "We're robbing plants of their agency." Listening to the way these young people are using the powers of nature to heal the ground gives me hope for the future. I'm l not as young as them, but I'm inspired to find some barren ground to manage to give nature a chance to thrive again.

I've seen some cool work in places like Portugal using quarries to create water features to regenerate the land. They found so many new species that hadn't been seen in over 40 yrs in that area. There was a lot of excitement over carnivorous plants because they require a very rich and healthy environment to survive.

I’m glad you guys highlighted the fact you had to add some organic matter and life to the soil before seeding, many native plant enthusiasts don’t like hearing the notion of adding amendments to soil because it’s not what the plants want because it’s thrives in lean soil, But many fail to realize that the soil we see nowadays is much more degraded if it was former farmland or disturbed by other human interventions.
@symbiosistx3 ай бұрын
Indeed! Native plants can thrive under poor conditions but that doesn’t mean it is the only way and it’s just hard to get any infiltration at all into soil with zero organic matter and no cover.

Every revival, restoration of pastures or crop land video is about 3 (like here) , 5, 20 acres. What if I'm taking over 5, 10, 20 thousands of conventional pasture/haying land? Could not find a single project of that magnitude on YT or google

Check out Holistic Management International. Lots of regenerative grazing projects at that scale they've been involved in. It's a lot of work documenting even smaller projects well so I think a lot of people working at that scale aren't making youtube videos about it =)

Neat! I know a lot of people have connected with this land over the years. I hope we can help the new stewards to heal it's water cycle, build the soil and increase biodiversity faster than nature would on it's own.

@@symbiosistx I did the photos when they were developing the ranch for sale and spent several days walking the property. I will look to see if I have maps of that area, I think we only did stills of those two sections. We did some 3d mapping but I think only of the sections closer to the road.

Love the fact they talk about how good it is to have done this. BUT THE FACT REMAINS THE SAME*****she said it** you need MONEY AND TIME* how many of us in this economy have that? Not many. Enjoy the future where only the rich will have flourishing grass and non barren land. That's after the goverment and chemical companies destroys the rest of it.
@symbiosistx4 ай бұрын
We're really just speeding up nature's own healing abilities because these folks have the funds and want to see the results in their lifetime. I think it's admirable that they choose to invest in their land like this. They could just buy fancy cars or something =) Land access is a big issue for those of us who are not wealthy and meanwhile those who "own" (I prefer steward to own since we're really just visiting here) land struggle to maintain it due to lack of funds, time and labor. It's a big puzzle for everyone but we have to make solutions and create examples everywhere we can. We need to be solution oriented or nothing will ever get better.

Thank you for being the true custodians our world needs more now than ever. Listen to Our Natives Indigenous Elders who were blessed to share these known knowledge for us to regain responsibility to ensuring the proper use of land and cultivate a healthier future together. I truly believe these entities that distrespct our environments should be held accountable as a war crime on environments and those that rely on them to survive. These barbaric ways of the past has never served us and has contributed to lost civilizations and natural resources. Should be the thing of the past that disconnects us from our future.

I just bought land in Virginia. The bottom 4 acres of flatland is damaged. It was a landing spot for the timber company. It has been barren since the 80’s by looking at google earth timelapse. I’m laying branches all over and covering with wood chips. In one season there’s a lot of weeds that have taken hold. It’s so satisfying to watch this land grow healthy and green in the images! I don’t know what I’m doing I’m just trying to give cover to the bare earth.

I did a biochar burn yesterday! We made about 600 litres in a Kontiki kiln. I’ve had the kiln for 7 or 8 years now and probably made nearly 20 tonnes of biochar. It’s great to see someone using it in such a challenging environment. I just use ours on the farm - mixed in with compost and stable manure mostly.
