Ok I am getting back into using GarageBand on my iPhone. Remembering one of the reasons I went off using it THE EARPHONE SITUATION!!🤦🏻‍♂️ So to use earphones to record. The first criteria is that they must be WIRED and NOT bluetooth so… 1 ) WIRED The second is, if you use wired earphones, iPhones obviously do not have 3.5mm jacks anymore. They use lightning cable. So the second criteria is that you will need a jack to lightning ADAPTOR 🤦🏻‍♂️ 2 ) jack to lightning adaptor Thirdly if you DO find a pair of earphones which do not require an adaptor because it just has a lightning input - try to find a pair that comes WITHOUT an inbuilt microphone !!!!!! 3 ) finding earphones/headphones that is a lightning cable WITHOUT an inbuilt microphone I am here still looking for a simple solution and I am very pissed off at how something so SIMPLE has become a freakishly serious issue 🤦🏻‍♂️ I am actually ANGRY as I type this at how much TIME I am/have wasted just to LISTEN to my recordings!!! WHY is this so difficult in 2024 !??? If I wasn’t clear about the problem of using an adaptor - THEY ARE SO FLIMSY!!! They flicker on and off during recording process!!!! I HATE MODERN TECHNOLOGY !!! ITS ALL A CON!! COMPATABILITY ISSUES GALORE!! CHEAP TECH!!!

How do you tell Logic to have the mixer or piano roll on one screen, and the sequencer / instrument on the other?

I recently purchased the Aiper Scuba S1 and put it in FLOOR mode to start off. I was very disappointed as it simply went back-and-forth along the same path, over and over again. I charged it up and tried it the next day. Same thing, back-and-forth along the same path. I called Aiper and they recommended using the app to update the firmware. I didn't even know it had an app! It doesn't mention that anywhere in the manual. I'll try it again later and see if it improves. So far, very disappointed. Navigation 2.0 doesn't do much "navigating," it seems to me.

I keep getting an interference on my second monitor - like an (old fashioned) TV with no channel selected. The only way to stop it is to unplug the USBc cable and replug it. It happens nearly every day. It is an apple usb to HDMI. Anyone else?

It gets worse. The HDMI port is unreliable, a known issue for more than a decade that Apple has not fixed. I didn't discover this until I ran into problems with my new M2 Mac Mini.

I literally saw this, walked to my Mac mini, plugged in my extra monitor to the usb c hub (hdmi port) and boom. Two screens. I can’t believe that did it occur to me. Thanks!!
