Pen style UV light can help if you can physically see the product. Yes, I looked like a wierdo shining a UV light on paints...Under regular lighting Liquitex has a nice blue

Hi, I have a question, Im new to painting with a spray gun and I bought the Mcfarlane Warhammer 40000 Artists Proof, do I need to prime it before I attempt to paint it and if so what kind do you recommend, should I buy a few different color primers if so what colors. The barricades look like they'd fit just about anywhere. Just don't paint them in odd alien color schemes and they could be in NYC or Chicago or a random military base as easily as Planet Oook. The shop might be suitable as a some kind of checkpoint or guard station on an high-tech military base or industrial complex as well - again, perhaps not in such strange colors.

Question: Why bother magnetizing the hatches on the top where the Marine can go? I'm building an Impulsor now, and it only comes with two hatches, and you have to glue the doors on open or closed. If I magnetize that part and pop off the hatch with a gunner, it's not like I have a third spare hatch laying around to cover the hole now. Is this just assuming you have multiple Impulsors and can mix and match the hatches if you want? Other than that though, this has been a helpful guide!

I cannot get my primer to not feel tacky at the end, I have set it overnight and still feels tacky, any thoughts?

Just came across your video, then went to check out the fluor colors at greenstuff world and noticed in addition to all the colors you mentioned, they now have a Fluor Turquoise paint! I wonder how the addition of that paint was influenced by your request...
