I have pulled the one bolt right through the mast box(destroying the mast box),therefore having two bolts distributing the anchoring point is stronger in my opinion.

I have used the 1-bolt base since 1992. My Slingshot Dialer came with a fin-box style mast track. It became a chore to “fish” the nut in and out. I went with a 2-bolt for that one board and it works well for me now.

Why not just use your harness hook? Pretty simple to tie a slipknot or bowline knot and haul away.
