I just put a dura clutch in my Ranger xp 1000 and the transmission shaft is recessed about a half to three quarters of an inch from the outside of the secondary clutch, is that normal
@bigl42018 ай бұрын
tried to call them today with the same question, but the video shows it so i suppose its normal.

Don't see a huge benefit over a set of 32" 10ply tires running through woods, water or a field. You should do some videos of the XD 1500 with the tracks in snow!

You guys make a kit for a 21 570 full-size? Or just a primary? Can i run your primary with the stock Polaris secondary?

So I have a few questions after I make an obvious point. This is essentially a yamaha clutch using rollers in grease encapsulated in a sealed non adjustable arc. Are you going to be making this for other models, such as Sportsman 850/1000? and will you be selling them on their own? I already have a great belt and a Team tied secondary and don't need to pay extra to buy them again. And 3rd, are they rpm adjustable using different rollers and springs?

Nice video. Question, can these be installed with a switch? Does it need a switch? I ride in Arizona and during the winter it’s get pretty cold. Thank.

Received my Duraclutch today, install only took me 30 minutes and I will say it actually runs way better now. It does slow stop quickly if I let off the gas and since I live in Florida I don't have to worry about too many hills. I have a 2016 Polaris Ranger 900 XP and it worked perfectly, no needing any shims, nothing the belt was perfectly aligned.

What are the benefits of the “Dura” clutch system on a sportsman?
@JEMDIESEL22 Жыл бұрын
What do you do with the track break in powder it says nothing about it in the install instructions
@Duraclutch Жыл бұрын
You can find this on step 10 in the instruction manual. "With tracks dry, put 1/4 bag of magnesium silicate in the middle of each track pod. Drive for 1-2 miles on road or dry ground. If not putting into service such as into a showroom, wait until putting into service."

What about those washers that come with the Secondary? How do you check the alignment of the two clutches to see if you need to use the washers that I stated above?

Any tips on removing the secondary bolt? Maybe my impact just isn't strong enough. The primary came off as easy as yours.
@Duraclutch3 жыл бұрын
The secondary bolt is torqued to 45 ft lb with Loctite. Any impact capable of that torque should allow you to loosen the bolt.

these look kinda good, first time i have seen them, i like how the leading edge of the rear track has aan upward angle to help climb. The way the sides are done is good because in the logging industries we put side guard's that work like these to keep debris out of the rollers and drive sprockets on Bulldozers, back hoes, bunchers, delimbers and button top loaders.

dont need an expensive clutch puller. a 3/4, eight inch bar (16 thread) with two nuts jambed together (all from Mcmaster.com) is a cheaper yet effective solution.
