I got this 5 star and I couldn't find info on it anywhere. What did this mean for the new crafting system?

Guaranteed it's just a bug for now. But five star legendaries were supposed to originally come out just after the opening of vault 94 but has been delayed until they can get the four and five star perks to function properly and with the new update it'll definitely be needing a lot of reworking before it can be added into the public test server again.

They really should overhall a lot of the events in the game at the moment to spawn more legendary monsters. It sucks how when eviction notice pops up everyone is hella excited to do the event, but the majority of all the other events are just a waste of time it feels.

I like the new system..... but its just as RNG heavy and grindy as the previous ones. Just we get to have a bit more control over it and aren't really limited on a daily basis. If you want to go out and grind for 12 hours for legendaries you can do it and not have to worry about banking them up for the day because of scrip limits. I think its a bit too much though, I get needing to farm and such but I've scrapped probably something close to 300-400 legendaries since this patch dropped and I've only gotten maybe 7 or 8 box mods and 1 planned learned. We just replaced one goofy grind with another goofy grind, its just the end result of the new goofy grind is giving us a bit more control over the end results.

Just so you know the explosive legendary mod only functions properly on the pepper shaker for energy weapons the others don't work how they used to. Got the custom worlds for a month to more fully test out the crafting system.

its a grind but its a far better thing than what existed before. before it was 100% RNG that the exact item you wanted dropped (all 3 stars). now its 1 in 100 vs the odds before.

True but it's still not fun to spend all your script to unlock nothing. The drop rate need to be raised. And people's vendors got insane after this update. I'm not paying 30k for a junk weapon because one of the stars is anti armor and the rest is pure garbage.

The new system is for seasoned players that can mass huge amounts of legendary’s. I am not an event type player. I like exploring and was content with rolling a weapon 2-3 times and taking what I got. Both systems running simultaneously would be good.

I'm a seasoned player been playing since release and I scraped a lot weapons i saved up god rolls even to get nothing at all from them. It was painful.

Yeah. The old system was at least perversely amusing seeing what absurd abominations the RNG God's would drop on you when rolling. The new system is just depressing, like those people endlessly feeding quarters into fruit machines for hours and hours a day.

Yeah I destroyed some god rolled melee weapons in the hope of learning the mods wasn't fun when I learned nothing. I didn't use the weapons anyway I was just hording them but still.

I think there's currently a bug stopping weapons from even dropping with the Intelligence perk. Nuka Knights did a video on it yesterday, so I'd hold fire on trying to buy anything in the hope it gets the perk.

Im on ps5 and been running casino expeditions the last 2 weeks multiple times with no problems. This last week I was running solo for the week, but the week before that i had an expedition team almost throughout the whole day with no issues.

You just got lucky. On PS5 too using Ethernet connection and it's a problem I've faced at least 6 times the past 3 days.

It is pretty hard to learn those mod effects, but it's not impossible. I managed to get most of the important effects. Just missing a few. Although I did save up on legendaries & Modules before the update, but if one is persistent, you can get the effects that you are trying to get.

I'd just be happy if they raised the drop rate to 2% I've scrapped like 30 the gutter trying to learn the vampire mod and nothing.

Especially considering that one if the best methods for generating random legendary items , Expeditions, crashes at least 1/4 times for at least one player. Seriously, wait for your whole team to thumbs up at the end.

Sometimes people will let you help them finish the expedition all the way up to the vertibird and then quit out. This way, they can just log back in when daily challenges reset and collect the rewards. Messed up

I'm well aware but it was happening with me as the team leader too where either me or other people on the team will fail to load in. My guess is the infinite load screen again.

This is a typical mmo trick to slow down players. Funny thing is once most people learn the mods they will change it again. The never-ending cycle.

No with how expensive it is to craft the legendary mods now they don't need to change it again it's 6000 script to make a single learned 3 star mod if you didn't save up 60 legendary modules.

Funny, I just went to my best build camp that is at the bigger waterfall spot at Three ponds in the Skyline Valley. The area around it had the radiated effect from being nuked with nuked flora, but my camp was okay.😂 Stay jealous people.

That was just that server. Your camp now shows up on different servers when your not playing and you have a chance someone nuked it when you get back on to see your camp.

I can toss them, but the bug for me is they spawn from a random point and it is always too high or too low, I tried using ''fire in the hole'' but same, the throwing arc is always shown too high above me or it is not shown at all. I haven't found anything about it, it looks like it's only me with that bug. It is especially annoying when it is the only daily available for Camden Park.

I have another video of doing dross toss without perks on where I show the places you have to place your cross hair when throwing to get the bullseye. I did miss the middle but this was back when I first when I started playing kinda.

There is a another spot on the map kinda like this with a bigger cave but it's part of a quest so you could never put your camp down.

It's sometimes caused my melee builds pushing Earl into the wall and it breaks him causing him to clip through. They're normally not doing it on purpose they are probably just as annoyed if not more that they caused it.

Yes very much so. Why do you think they took away the bottle cap mine from fallout 76. They knew they made something they probably shouldn't have because of how easy it is to tank frame rate with them. And why it doesn't instantly crash on the PS5 next Gen update. Like it did for the PS4

I did this it was F:NV inside Dead Wind Cavern. I set a mini nuke mine surrounded by plasma mines a quarter of the way from the chamber where the legendary Deathclaw is. I took a potshot to get his attention he came running I took off down the tunnel didn’t make it far enough and the resulting explosion froze the game 😂😂😂
