No way that stadium has a capacity of 250k It’s essentially 9 football pitches in a rectangular block so you have 12 sections of seating consolidate that into a single football field it’s a three tiered stadium that would have to hold 85000 people on each tier - allowing for standing instead of seating it that’s too much Reckon the only way you get to that 250k ‘attendance’ is if you have folks standing in the field as well as the terraces

I really like the historical research you conducted for making this film and all the infos you put in there on the 1920s and 30s, it really gives the right context for this unique structure. With Sparta Praha just announcing that they will build a new 35 000 seat stadium on the grounds of the now defunct Stadion Evžena Rošického, quite a bit of investment will go into the site (and also Strahov) during the coming years.

imagine if man utd had a 200k stadium now. I think they'd fill it but the entire city would crumble, nobody walks anywhere. My grandfather used to cycle up to 100 miles to away games.

I've always wanted to visit that stadium first. Problem is, first time I visited it was my honeymoon, and second time it was a romantic couple of days away with my partner, in which we managed to fit in Slavia Prague v Valencia so it would have been a bit too much to expect her to also come on the hunt of the Strahov stadium as well - not when there's the rest of Prague to see, she doesn't even like football.

This was an eye opener, I've been to Prague several times, love the city. The castle and the Strahov Monastery are near this place, both of which I've been to more than once, and yet I never knew this enormous stadium existed. Just as informative and well researched as your HITC Sevens stuff, even though presumably you had to do all this research solo. Pretty damn good first video.
