I’m about to make a server that is a 4 faction server (US vs RU vs FIA with Citizens) . It’s cool n all with A.i. but real people would be alot better more stories and RP. PLUS where are these servers with 3 faction wars for people to play? It’s getting quite boring even with mods to just have US VS RU…..

No. For AI to call artillery need mod. Lambs AI have that I think. Or maybe some other mod...

You have to be the game master to do this, which makes the features useless for people just participating in servers. lol

I have been waiting 6 years for tutorials like this, for this exact info. I spent years looking at mods, zues tutorials and asking people wbo play the game and i have never found this. THANK YOU SO MUCH! Pls i hope you have more like this video.

I did it on xbox. Do the same as in the video, onnthe controller press the square button and left bumper, stand in front a soldier and select recruit.

IF ai gets stuck like in arma 3 or 2 i dont think it will make reforger worth it. I mean i wish for Arma 4 to have dynamic and resposive AI so managing them is actually fun

Yeah, hope it get better in Arma 4. Reforger is more PvP focused anyways. Still, this is in experimental branch, so hopefully it will only get better from now on.

How to recruit AI in Gamemaster: 1. Create playable faction. 2. Create spawn point. 3. Create AI. 4. Spawn your self. Go to spawn menu. (Don't right click and use "Create Player". It wont work that way) 5. Go to AI and press the command key (` by default) 6. Win profit.

With this method probably not. This is just a simple one. You may have to script things to make a more complex Air Strike runs. Or you could just make 2 strikes to attack 2 targets.

Erm, its yes and no. No because you cant define the patrol waypoints. Yes, kinda you can put defend waypoint/task and the AI will randomly walk around inside the defend radius. I am only talking about game master. The workbench is fairly complex so it probably can...

Probably the video? Or both, because I can't really see the lagginess... 1.0 update came out, and it's a lot smoother. Hitreg still quite a problem in high ping server though.

that's always kinda been the case with Arma, especially Arma 2, still looks like a really good game though, especially if it ever gets on the same scale as Arma 3

@@NiskaMagnusson reforger wont be at the same scale as arma 3 I believe. Better wait for Arma 4. But if you want to feel what Arma 4 can be, you can get reforger.

I know I am a bit late for 10th Year Arma 3 Anniversary, but I decided to try playing East Wind campaign again. I only use Enhanced Soundscape mod so it won't interfere with the campaign missions. I don't know if I will continue to play the campaign moving forward...

They will follow road if you put them in safe behavior. [Edit]. If you put the center of the random patrol in cities, they will probably follow the road. Otherwise you have to manually create waypoints near roads, and end it with cycle waypoint. Check the other tutorial; "Making Simple AI Patrol."
