There are twelve commandments There are twelve divisions Twelve are the pagans who have mapped the sky In the outer circle To the inner sanctum From the octave at the end of time The fountain, the trinity The pilgrim is searching for blood To look for his own free will The stone of infinity, washed in the flood Lovers in the tower The moon and sun divided And the hanged man smiles Lovers in the tower The moon and sun divided Let the fool decide In the atom circle Where we break the stars Hammer into anvil, stuffing out the sun Witness all the killing See the birth of Mars Our religion thrown into the fire The fountain, the trinity The pilgrim is searching for blood To look for his own free will The stone of infinity, washed in the flood Lovers in the tower The moon and sun divided The hanged man smiles Lovers in the tower The moon and sun divided The magician laughs Lovers in the tower The moon and sun divided And the priestess kneels Lovers in the tower The moon and sun divided Let the fool decide Lovers in the tower The moon and sun divided And the hanged man smiles Lovers in the tower The moon and sun divided Let the fool decide Lovers in the tower The moon and sun divided The priestess kneels to receive Lovers in the tower The moon and sun divided The magician laughs

Rick your amazingly talented and proof that dedication, persistence and perseverance pays off, your an incredible spirit and I really think the lads in def couldn't give you up, it's amazing that mutt and some technicians figured out how to make pedals so you could still play, just an amazing story !!!

We have one of his art pieces called “Courage After Combat” which my daughter purchased when we went to one of his gallery exhibits in PA. We have many family members who served in the military so the piece is very meaningful for us. It’s a brilliant piece of work. I’d like to say thank you to Rick for taking the time to talk yo us after we bought your artwork 🥰 It’s a beautiful piece of art ♥️

This was a fantastic interview, and you asked a lot of great questions that true fans have always wanted to ask. You deserved much more time with him and probably a proper mic on his end, but I understand that this is not up to you and you made the best of what you had. This prompts my question, if you can answer it, of course. When you reached out (no pun intended) to him or Iron Maiden's PR, were they like, "Okay, he'll talk to you for 20 minutes, tops, over the phone"? All in all, I just wish there were more interviews like this, with well-thought-out and well-posed questions to all the band members but with a good well deserved and documented sound quality with the lads sitting down and taking their time. I understand they value their privacy, but their legacy is so important that these types of interviews, purely speaking about music or their art (be it writing a book or any other artistic outlet they may have), are very important for music history purposes. I truly mean it. That said, thank you so much for this. I truly enjoyed it.

Gavin's voice has dropped a few octaves since then! You sound a bit like Joe Perry there, Eamon...I think we all wish we still had floppy fringes like in those days. Thirty two years gone by in a pinch...curious, how this was the video I thought of when the old horn-dog, Chuck Berry died in 2017.

This song is beautiful, magnificent! I don't understand why Iron Maiden never played it! This song has a lot of feeling and even an air of melancholy, of many reflections on life! You interpreted very well, congratulations!
