I tried a few days ago and the answer is unfortunately no. The author of that app is aware of the difficulties of communicating with this new hub, as I saw his name in a Pybricks GitHub discussion.

It could probably work if you used the Transformer robot from your Lego Mindstorms: Robot Inventor, Sarkiap-1. Have it transform into a humanoid and then kick the ball in the goal. That way, it's able to travel the soccer field faster, and it's more interactive/unique. Have it balance itself as it kicks the ball, and work on transforming the robot faster. Damn, I really wish I had time to work on it to improve it, but I don't :/. Maybe one day. I will be buying your books one day soon. It's just right now I'm on a budget. One day!!! Edit: make two versions of the game? One like rocket league xD. And the other one where players are only allowed to score as a humanoid transformer robot.

"beta" I know i am not one of the first 3, I built David Gildays'y NXT cube solver many years ago when it first came out, I think the videos are still on my channel it was great fun and after recently re-teaching myself how to solve the rubiks cube again, (used to do 27secs average as a kid) I can now manually solve it in about 2-3 mins, getting older sucks Things take longer to do lol, I am also a lego technic guy. Still a kid at heart. I am impressed with your cube solver for this set and I actually have just ordered a set which is how i found your channel when looking for reviews. Keep up the great work and keep inspiring us all!

How do you store the information of each color?
@profBricks
@profBricks 6 күн бұрын
While scanning, I save all the HSV triplets of the facelets, and then I run a nearest neighbor matching algorithm to associate each facelet to each of the 6 central ones, thus creating a string description of the cube.

Thank you for your Python code! I was finally able to get the XBox + Lego GT working on my MacBook (I keep running my Laptop to make it works, and sometimes connection freezed then I need to re-auth). However, as I teach my son coding using his “portable” iPad, I noticed that the PyGame module is not available (we’re still learning together, so apologies if I’m mistaken!). Does this mean I won’t be able to run it on the iPad?

So, first of all, this is a super creative idea and I decided to try it out myself. I ran into a couple issues that unfortunately made this a no-go for me: 1. The deal-breaker was that the drive motor's small gear that connects with the wheel axle gear below the floor skipped often, and the motor assembly really wanted to pull away from the floor. Additionally the motor has a lot of resistance so if you want to still be able to manually drive the Ecto 1 around, it fights you, and again the sounds of gears skipping. 2. The battery pack needs to be removed to change the batteries which in the case of the Ecto-1 is not so much fun. 3. The steering motor cable gets in the way of the side-gunner seat mechanism if you don't put something below the motor to stop that from happening. 4. Small nit. There is a larger black gear shown at 1:07 that is not included in the Bill of Materials shown at 0:50 Great idea, but wish I had better luck with it.

I know, that little motor is weak for that beast, and the gear train should be secured better. That's why I put the acceleration and deceleration ramps in the program, to avoid gears from slipping!

That's so sad i really like the concept i wouldn't be able to disassemble it i remember back when i was 8 i recreatied the snake from EV3 by using power functions and i had to disassemble it i still can't get over it and now i lost some parts and i can't make it again
