Can you tell me why you chose this type of lining method instead of making another version of the dress example dress with fashion fabric another but same dress on lining fabric then attach it to the dress in on go .. please can you explain why there is specific way or I can’t fully lining with one go .

@@munerab6625 I used different lining fabric here for better visibility in the tutorial, but you can definitely finish the dress with the same fabric ☺️

@@Thatgurlathy It’s definitely a beginner-friendly project and quick to make, you can finish it in just two hours. For a tip, I always use a sewing machine foot as a guide to help sew straight! ☺️

Hi, just to let you know that your are speaking too fast in your tutorial. Slow down please 1.5-2 X and make it more precise when describing it all. Otherwise it is useless

@@נגהדנה The bias tape is used to nicely finish the edges of the neckline and armhole. You can make this dress with a lining, so in this case, the bias tape won't be necessary.

What should I do if I fit the xs in waist and hips but I am 1 cm below the small in the bust? Which size should I go? Or should I mix the sizing?

I would recommend going for size XS. For example, I wear size M and have 6 cm more in the bust. The dress still fits me well, but it’s more fitted in the bust. Technically, you could mix sizes if you know how, but XS will still be nice and have a better fit in the bust ☺️

I use a Janome DXL603 as my home sewing machine and a Merrylock 689 for overlocking. For sewing a dress from knit fabrics, an overlock machine provides the best professional finish. You can also use a zigzag stitch on a home sewing machine, but the final result will be slightly less professional 😊

The beige color garment in the photo is made of jersey knit. The content of the fabric is 92% of modal viscose and 8% of spandex. This soft modal fabric has a 4-way stretch. The fabric of the black dress on the tumbler is viscose 68% with lycra 32%, a 4-way stretch knit :)

Thank you! I leave the total to place the tube. Basically, the shoulder counter has the same circumference as the tube. The material is very stretchy.
