Oh wow! So quickly they built half of the house. Very beautiful. And the floors in the bedrooms just sparkle. I'm delighted. And the back of the house, what will be there? Kitchen, bar or billiard room? There will probably be a recreation area there.

Congratulations on your progress in building your house. 🤩 It’s so stupid, but I forgot the name of your channel and searched for you on KZbin for a long time. I even thought that you blocked me, but I couldn’t understand why. 😄The playlist is POWER. Found you on my playlist. 👍What an idiot I am. 😆

This is yet another Philippines house build where i see the column stirrups not finished correctly, by that i mean the ends are supposed to be finished with a 135 degree bends and yours are just 90. Do you have an Engineer keeping an eye on your build and workers, if not get one mate

Great house build video. Excellent design and progress. I don’t say this often about PH house build projects- since it’s a rare occurrence - your building site is exceptionally clean 👍🏻 Makes for a safe and orderly project.

Good idea to put lintelbeams in the building make it stonger. Question about the Hollow Blocks did you test them when you trow one on the floor does they keep intact?
@mackemitalian7 ай бұрын
50% did. Remember the hollow blocks are filled with rebar and cement also to maintain wall integrity.
@dgodrummer81107 ай бұрын
are the hollow block walls structural?
@mackemitalian7 ай бұрын
The ones in the foundations, yes sort of but they have heavy beams over the tops. But the remainder , no. All main weight is taken by the beams. This can be seen on further videos

Hi I see that the floor is substantially elevated is a water flood issue or for viewing or something else. Just wondering. 😊
@mackemitalian7 ай бұрын
we are only about 50-70m from the sea. We dont flood or at least not within the last 10 years since the plot was ours. We wanted to mitigate problems as far as possible.

2 issues i see. Pouring the columns before the wals are built is not as solid as building the walls first. The columns then encase the ends of the walls. I done it with mine and we were hit with that 7.2 quake last year and the house just shrugged it off. Another thing is...... there's a lot if glass. Glass is hard to insulate. If anything it kinda magnifies the sun. Its just my own experience with building my house here
@mackemitalian7 ай бұрын
The columns are integral to the structure as every 2nd course is tied with rebar back to the columns

Hello mate i am Jack from the Netherlands did found your channel. Nice to see your build proces. Me and my wife also going to build on Leyte. Good to see you did put all the water pipes close to each other. Mostly in the PH you see bathroom left of the house toilet on the back. cost you many metres of pipe. How thick you going to make your concrete floor? Be aware the CHB blocks are nor pressure or load bearing. You will get a lot of pressure on your lower walls because of the groundfill. I wil follow you with interest and every time a thums up mate. One thing check check check everyting and be sure that you know what the guys are doing. succes Regards Jack

Floor is about 8 cms from what I remember. But we have a great deal of rebar in the structure. I was concerned when the truck was delivering material and was driving over the mountain soil. No problems. Solid as a FILIPINO house lol
