Does the image stabilization in this lens make a huge difference in your shots? The kit lens does a really good job with image stabilization, but I've used other lenses (non-image stabilized) on my EOS-M and the footage is so jerky/shaky. I'm looking for solutions that don't involve post processing / digital image stabilization, thanks!

Yes, image stabilization here is extremely helpful, especially at the 105 mm focal length. I filmed 99% of my shots handheld

With a speed booster f/4 becomes f/2.8, so it's quite possible to shoot indoors

Fantastic video! I'm also an EOS-M user myself. This fantastic camera has turned into my A-Cam due to the great colors I get out of it. @3:17 Is the LOG C really the ONLY adjustment you do in the MLV app? I also prefer Log C, but when shooting in 3x3 (1080P) I feel the need to have to bump the "Chroma Smooth" to 3x3 and the "CA Desaturate Threshold" to 100% to get rid off the moire. Why does your footage look clean with out those settings?! Thanks in advance!

I’m glad you enjoyed my video! Yes, converting the video to Log C is really the only thing I do in MLV App. I had a lot of issues with moire when shooting in 1080p 16:9 (1736x976). But when I started filming in open gate (1736x1158), it got much better! One thing I didn’t mention in the video is that I often upscale to 4K when rendering from MLV App. It makes the video look even better.

Fantastic stuff. I also enjoy using the full sensor of the camera and probably is the most optimal way to use it to capture stunning footage. At least in my opinion. Loved the care and dedication to the craft that you’ve shown here! I enjoy using more modern cameras but always come back to the canon for those spontaneous and random shots just because they’re so enjoyable to look back at purely because of the picture quality and characteristics. This was a good watch ❤

I completely agree about the full sensor. It's especially cool to shoot with a speed booster and a full-frame lens. For me, it's much better than 5K with a crop. I also have a Canon R8. But I love the EOS M for its fantastic image quality. Thank you for the wonderful comment! I'm glad you enjoyed my video!

Canon 550d can record more than 10 seconds in 1280x582. it is important to use a fast memory card
