The best thing about ff14 is that I don't need to make a new character to play different classes. Your single character can basically be everything. The game can sometimes feel like a cozy farming sim game with the gathering classes. Great suggestions! Can't wait for the next video!

Metro has never felt open world.. It feels like a game that has open sections and you can see a good way ways away, but you can't explore everything in that game... at least in this case Metro three or whatever it was called Exodus?? I have all three of them and I'm working on the first two but I've not played them in a while because I fell off.. they do feel alive. I will say that I just don't feel like they are open world games... I guess to be technical, you could probably say this about a bunch of games.. all of them are going to have boundaries at some point, but I do feel like the metro series is a "lived in "feeling world, and the tone in some of those games is unmatched!

I just can't get into unity and syndicate on xbox one x, not sure if it's the TV but both games look way to bright and have a strange jagged look at times. The rpg trilogy looks fine though maybe it's a hdr issue

They're 10 y/o games made by Ubisoft, do you expect them to have the graphical quality of cyberpunk or black myth wukon? Adjust the brightness in both the game and on your tv and try adjusting other picture settings on your tv as well. Syndicate just got an update and the quality of all the visuals seems significantly better on my ps5 now than when I played it earlier this year

On PC, once you get a separate PS/Xbox style controller just to do those pesky puzzles, Homefront: The Revolution turns out to be a competent shooter. Not excellent, but good enough to warrant buying and playing.

This video highlights what I've always said over 40 years of gaming... graphics shouldn't sell a game. This modern day obsession with flashy graphics at the cost of game mechanics is why so many fail. Games only have a set amount of memory to work with and this means that game mechanics and gameplay should ALWAYS come before graphics.

There's a right way to do open world and a wrong way. The wrong way is having an open world that feels empty. These are all great examples of the right way to do it
