MANROSE CSF100S 100MM (4") AXIAL BATHROOM EXTRACTOR FAN I fitted the above FAN and fitted the loo very vents outside but the fan doesn't seem strong enough to open the lovers. It says 2 speeds. How do I change the speed? Many thanks Ian.

Thank you for your question. Manrose CSF100 is a similar model to CQF100 range in the video. The fan has two-speed settings, at the factory they are set to low speed, to change speed settings gently slide the jumper downwards and reposition it on the appropriate pegs www.manrose.co.uk/wp-content/uploads/doc/FandWs/077645.pdf

can i use some kind of outdoor glue and not screws
@isells7 ай бұрын
Thank you for your question! Whether you can glue the Cowled Wall Outlet Round Spigot onto your external wall depends on the material of your wall. This product is designed to be securely attached with screws for a durable and long-lasting installation. However, if your external wall is made of a suitable material that can be bonded effectively with a strong adhesive, you may consider using glue as an alternative. Please make sure to assess the compatibility of the adhesive with both the product and your wall material, and ensure a secure and safe installation. If you have any doubts or concerns, we recommend consulting with a professional contractor or technician who can provide guidance based on your specific situation. If you have any more questions or need further assistance, feel free to reach out to our customer support team. They'll be happy to help. We hope this information helps you with your installation decision!

Hi Tom, Thank you for your query. Do you have the Installation Manual for the unit? If not, these can be found on our website on the product page, if you scroll down to the section where it says "Downloads" and you should see the Installation Manual listed there. If you have trouble finding it, then please contact us directly and we can email you one. If you have model DRI-ECO-HEAT-HC, then check out page 6, section 7.7 "Binding a sensor" - it gives some guidance to follow if the binding does not occur. If you try that, see if that helps. If not, please contact us directly and we'll help further.

After a power cut my unit (DRI-ECO-HEAT-HC) displays error code E150 and blow cold air at full speed. It lost it's pairing with the 4 switch unit. I've tried pressing and holding down: up, down, and up and down, but nothing is changing. I've tried restarting the unit, but again, no change. I can't find this error code anywhere. What does the error code mean? How do I reset the unit?

If it is within warranty they will replace it or fix it. You have to take it down. Alternatively, if it is out of warranty, you can take it apart and it's most likely a lose connection. It still involves taking it down.

For optimal performance, it is advisable to keep the extractor running continuously at all times. This is particularly important if the property has experienced issues with condensation and mold. We highly recommend maintaining a minimum airflow of 4 liters per second (l/s) by keeping the extractor on at a constant trickle speed. By doing so, you can effectively mitigate condensation and mold problems, ensuring a healthier environment.

anyone understand what exactly 'intelligent heat recovery mode' is?
@isells Жыл бұрын
Thank you for your question. An intelligent heat recovery mode is a feature commonly found in Heat Recovery Units (HRUs) used in HVAC systems. This feature uses additional sensors, such as humidity sensors, to optimize the system's performance. For instance, in wet rooms like bathrooms, kitchens, and utility rooms, the humidity sensor can detect when the humidity levels exceed the pre-set levels and switch the unit to boost mode. This mode helps manage the increase in humidity by extracting more air from the wet rooms and expelling it outside until the humidity level decreases to the set point. By using these sensors, the system can operate more efficiently and maintain a comfortable indoor environment while reducing energy consumption and costs. This feature is often referred to as "intelligent" because it can adjust its operation based on real-time data, making the system more responsive to changing environmental conditions.
@spencercottle306 Жыл бұрын
@@isells thanks for the fuller explanation
@MrJohnnyDMonic Жыл бұрын
This reply kind of implies that this particular mode would only work if additional sensors were connected? It's really frustrating that the manual says absolutely nothing about what this mode is or how it works. My loft temperature is regularly around 30 degrees at the moment so my unit spends most of the summer in standby mode, even though the humidity in the house is in the 70s.

Thank you for your comment. This might happen if you install your connector with a damper in a vertical duct as it should only be used on horizontal duct runs. Or if you use a flexible hose where the damper flap gets caught on the sides and gets stuck. If you experiencing any issues give us a call 02084639696 as there are "butterfly" dampers with springs for vertical runs

@@isells Hi, I made an order to Ireland recently and I want to say thank you. It was all delivered very quickly, to my full satisfaction, except for this shutter. I tried using it in a horizontal duct but the flow of air from the extractor pushed, not only to the bottom part but also to the upper part. It therefore blocked opening of the shutter. It could work if it was attached in the middle of the top part rather than on either side.

This is a dryer vent and does not meet code for most places (most likely all places) in the united states. Most of the code that I am aware of requires metal and no plastic for venting a stove. Also, that flexible tubing is garbage and really reduces air flow.

@isells Жыл бұрын
The heater is controlled by a temperature sensor that is fitted to the outlet of the heater and will control the heater output to maintain the set point. If you could refer to Installation and Maintenance 10.4 and 10.5 for setting adjustments. In addition, you can add up to 3 wireless sensors to DRI-ECO-HEAT-HC. An example would be 4 Way Heater and Boost Control Switch that would allow you to control it manually: www.i-sells.co.uk/nuaire-drimaster-eco-4-way-heater-and-boost-control-switch If you have any questions please call our Technical advise on 02084639696

I then set the boiler down a couple degrees as my hive is under the PIV Diffuser, the house heats up the same yes there is a chill when the rating is off but nothing like I have read people suffering with I think it's a case of playing with the settings until you find the weet spot with the PIV and heating adjustments. Hi, does this system use electricity to extract out the air? I mean once the building air extraction is set up, and then unscrewing the individual room extraction valve to initiate the room suction/extraction, does that add to energy bill? (Apologies if it's a dumb question)

In general you should not tamper with diffusers, as it could have been adjusted for correct extraction/supply using Anemometer.
