Absolute master. There's a lot of seriously boring Jazz and Blues and even more so lately. Mitch's style is so melodic and sometimes unexpectedly contrapunctal. Absolutely a breath of fresh air to me. A real natural musician for a change. Tone for days. All that from just a deluxe, or is it a twin ?

Fantastic. No one plays with that great tone anymore. Great almost classical-feel jazz. Great Musician.

Compared to most musicians, This guy gets more business makes all the money. I remember our highschool guitar teacher said, the big band at Disneyland in 'Calif' said the guitar player (id seen him playing, but i didn't hear him) Paid 100$ hr.. That was late 70s early eighties.

Brilliant phrasing. I love the way you think “methodically” but your phrasing conceals it good enough to where you don’t have that “I’m practicing an etude” vibe.

I have been using a metronome app that I can program to speed up every certain number of measures… every 4 measures it goes up 2bpm… it’s a fun way to challenge yourself without having to stop and push buttons every few minutes. I hope I’m not training myself to rush though. 😅

@@MitchChmara What I liked or learnt from the lesson was your approach to the blues. Your phrasing, note choices and register movement. You took something foundational and put your own voice into the progress and said something new and didn't rely on chiches and you played without fear which is another topic completely. Thank you for putting this content out there and sharing your musical point of view.
