Here is the recipe for the 10 day challenge: Days 1-3: Read an inspirational/ motivational story aloud (10 minutes at least) Days 4-6: Read, record (for 1.5- 2 minutes) and listen to yourself While listening, focus on your pronunciation, intonation and tone To know the correct pronunciation, type the word and search on KZbin for the correct pronunciation and practice Days 7-10: Read, record, listen, talk to yourself Ask simple questions about the story and answer (in English) Listen to podcasts and watch English programmes that interest you. This is a great point to discuss! As teachers we have to make sure to create a balance between dominant and assertive communication showing more empathy. Aggressive communication takes away the respect, freedom of speech and hurts the self-esteem of our learners.
