Before that peak, my highest peak was Huayna Potosi in Bolivia, 6080 moh, but it was made in 2 days, so I didn't really have high altitude experience. I also succeded kilimanjaro, but failed Elbrus in Russia. BUT, I live in norway where I'm used to make long hikes and also sleep in a tent. For the training, a lot of cardio is necessary, but I would say that most important is that you know your body and how to save energy and push your limits. I learnt from mistakes!

Wow, that's a pretty incredible experience you had, it sounds like they just picked a random guy as your guide! Things could have gone seriously wrong so you made the correct decision to join JG's expedition. You must have used even more energy going back and forth when they forgot shovels and ropes, what were they thinking! I think the JG expedition is the safest bet. You got some incredible footage there as well, was that a dji osmo pocket I saw? Camp 2-3 looks quite scary, glad you had good weather going up. There must be a few crevasses there.

@yaelpericard How difficult was the climb? Was altitude a problem. Also, what drone did you use up there?

The climb was okay, easier than expected, because between each camp, you have all day to walk, so everything was easy (depending on your fitness), except the summit push, which was difficult, like from 6500m, the lack of oxygen is a problem haha, so you go slower, but it's managable. The 50 last meters, on flat ground, took me 15min to walk haha! Only the last night at 6300m on the summit push day was horrible, where I think the lack of oxygen woke me up every 30min... The rest was fine ! And I used the dji mini 3 pro for this trip, I flew up to 6900m, and I'm sure it would have worked easily at 7000, but on the summit day there was way too much wind :(

Hey, the Mini 3 Pro is looking awesome for a small drone. Did you recharge your batteries with solar power during the expedition? Interesting that you said some of the climbing was easy. I bet it gets difficult above 6500m. Looking forward to watching your long version video of the trip.

@@torotaxi1 yes the drone really did the job! Up to 5000m the drone trottle was up to 5m/s but above 5000m I had only 3m/s, but it does the job! And if you check my youtube channel, just after this video, I have posted the long version! 1h30, where I explain the drama that happened during my trip to spantik... It's in english, I'm sure you will be entertained!

Yooooo!!! Ben écoute je me porte pas trop mal!!! Il m’a fallu 6 mois je dirais pour m’en remettre. Les 2 premiers mois étaient un peu compliqués car l’enveloppe de mon coeur était encore irritée dc je pouvais pas courir, mais ensuite ça s’est amélioré :) ensuite les mois qui ont suivis, dès que quelqu’un me faisait peur ( où si je voyais les flics aux jumelles, genre gros coup de stress, j’avais une douleur au coeur, mais après 6 mois, tout allait bien. J’ai perdu 10% de mon coeur, mais c’est la pointe, dc je n’ai pas de séquelle sur la fraction d’ejection, la preuve, je reviens d’un 7000m! Et toi comment vas-tu?

@@yaelpericard salut excuses moi pour le délai de la réponse est ce que toi tu as eu une péricardite (inflammation de l’enveloppe seulement) ou une myocardite inflammation du cœur en lui même ou les 2? car c’est pas vraiment la même chose. Moi personnellement j’ai passé un IRM qui a montré une fraction d’éjection VG un peu bizarre (57% c’est marqué minimum 57 pour l’âge genre je suis pile poile à la limite 😂😂😂) mais considérée encore normale. Et FEVD a 58% (minimum de 48% pour l’âge) donc parfaitement normale. Mon problème à moi c’est que les douleurs sont persistantes depuis 3 mois et que je pense avoir des développe des troubles du rythme cardiaque (sur des ECG faits à la maison jai remarqué des Extrasystoles ventriculaires (que je sens parfois) et il y a 3 jours j’ai eu comme une crise de grosse tachycardie à 180 pendant plusieurs minutes ct la première fois que ça m’arrivait et je t’avoue avoir paniqué malheureusement la nature de cette tachy a pas pu être détecté (possible que c’était une tachy ventriculaire donc assez dangereuse) car au moment j’ai fait LECG (30min après) elle est partie. En gros voilà quand tu vis avec une maladie qui peut te provoquer un grave trouble du rythme potentiellement mortel c’est assez compliqué ! du coup est ce que tu as vécu ça également des problèmes de rythme ventriculaires en plus de la douleur ? Sinon super tes vidéos très travaillées tu mérites franchement plus de vues!

@@Ali-en7ir mon pauvre! j'ai pas eu autant de galères que toi.... je parle pour le coeur car pour les reste, j'ai pas été gâté non plus haha! Il me semble que ma fraction d'éjection était de 65... ça fait longtemps donc ma mémoire peut flancher, mais j'ai ce chiffre qui me revient en tête... J'ai eu une crise de tachycardie une fois, quelques années après, en ayant bu du café (alors que j'aime pas ça, donc t'imagines que j'en ai jamais repris haha). Oui moi j'ai eu 2 trucs: une myocardite qui a aussi entraîné une pericardite, mais j'ai également eu des spasmes qui ont contracté les coronaires, et ça a fait un oeudème ds le coeur... le gros bordel. Maintenant j'ai pas de séquelles, mais toi ça à l'air plus grave :( es-tu allé voir un cardiologue?

@@yaelpericard merci à toi d’avoir répondu rapidement non j’ai pa vu de cardio encore tsé c’est compliqué d’être pris au sérieux quand tes prises de sang (sont suspectes mais encore à la limite de la normale) et pareil pour L’Irm chiffres suspect mais d’apparence normale (en tt cas rien de WOW!) je suis un peu surpris quand ta dis que t’as eu des spasmes qui ont contracté les coronaires c’est un truc de ouf à entendre comme ça. Mais du coup comment t’as su que t’as eu des spasmes (en gros quel examen la montré) et surtout ta pris quel médocs pour que ça se résorbe ça pourrait m’aider de ouf sûrement encore merci à toi super gentil!

@@Ali-en7ir j’ai passé une semaine à l’hopital à quebec city quand s’est arrivé, et ils n’avaient jamais eu un cas pareil en 40 ans de carrière… on etait qu’une soixantaine de cas ds le monde à avoir ce truc de fou, ils m’ont fait signer un papier pour que j’accepte que mon cas soit partagé avec la communauté scientifique… ils m’avaient donné de la nitroglycérine (trinitrite si je me rappelle), ça dilate les coronaires, mais ça faisait mal à la tête lol
