"What is the problem?" The real problem is that Drake is performing "hiphop Blackface" when pretending to be someone he's not and representing something he doesn't come from. I don't know if you guys are Canadian but I myself am a mixed black/spanish man from the US. You don't get a pass to act a certain way here simply because you're black. If you didn't watch certain shows, grow up in a specific neighborhood, play particular games (like knock ya momma off you're shoulder), or accustomed to certain foods, you were looked at as an outsider by the people you go to the exact same school as. Drake has skated by for so long because he dropped hits, but it was only a matter of time until somebody said "ima check his temperature right quick". What we saw from Kendrick was that temperature check in a school full of students that were no longer sure about that outsider that could "sing and dance" his ahss off.

I 100% agree with it being odd that people love to see 2 black people tear each other down, BUT this is not unique to just black people. This is what most modern cultures have become because village war and beheading each other died out a few 100 years ago. Look at the way politicians try to gain votes, it's not by telling the people what they have to offer that will benefit the voter, they instead tear into the character of their opponents and the voters eat it up. Society as a whole is spiraling into a cesspool of absolute indecency.

This whole convo is so off base. Its not about light skin vs dark or even canadian black culture vs american black culture. Its about Drake using his blackness only when its beneficial. Its about being a culture vultre. If you think this is about being biracial youre slow. The disrespect of using AI Pac to diss Kendrick is a prime example of Drake not really being part of the culture and shitting on it while making money off it.

Drake fans are weirdos. It’s totally ok to like the music, I like his songs but I’m not obsessed with someone I don’t know. I’m a giant Cole and Kendrick fan but if they did wrong I’m honest and Drake fans should be also. Granted, art is subjective but going to bat by any means necessary is weird.

Yes, gentlemen, we have something going on in the Netherlands... But I must also say that we as "the Netherlands" are making a statement. we are the size of a borough of New York. we have 17 million inhabitants... and have been receiving almost a quarter of a million immigrants every year for years!! We can't hold on anymore and then the Netherlands goes on the attack, but believe me, the Netherlands doesn't really want this, but it can't be like this anymore.

“Scarlet” Doja's album is not there because the election period for this year's Grammys was until September 15 and Doja's album came out on September 22 lol therefore it will count for next year's Grammys, that's why the singles “attention” and “paint the town red” are nominated because they came out before September 15 ;)

I encourage ghosting. If someone's being a creep, if the vibe is off, if someone is being aggressive- imo it's better to just cut your losses then try to engage further, block, or otherwise make a bigger deal of it and have to face whatever backlash.

UK rap 100% has better storytellers and better rappers in general. The only reason people will prefer American rapper is because of the tone of their voices easier to hear no offence to uneducated people I don't really know much about culture apart from America and only hear American accents. Let's be real Americans are biased. UK rap is better and Americans know it maybe that's why they take the piss out of UK rap with the hole tea and crumpets (p.s also uneducation) trying to turn us into a joke rap scene because they are actually feeling strong competition now in the rap game maybe they feel their spotlight could be taken one day 🤷‍♂️

You have expectations, cause you are thinking of blonde or channel or etc. Frank always pushed boundaries, always had new sounds that he put out there. If you want some words form him he said that he is interested in the club scene and the different things that come with it. "Frank the goat" yepp he into this music deep and you can hear it in the sound clearly
