Well, it is so-so. It is more of a simcade (simulation + arcade) feel. The braking is almost immediate (instant), but the racing feel and sound is quite good, punchy. I did like it.

Most X-input (Xbox 360 compatible) controller should work with this game.

Hi, sadly I cannot give you a link, because youtube deletes any links to 3rd party sites, especially stores. Go to Aliexpress, select the category "Toys & Hobbies" and enter the words "enlightened building blocks castle" or "enlighten castle 1023 knights" into the search bar and you can get some usable results. The best thing is, that this castle is sometimes featured in different deals and you can get additional discounts.

Sorry for the late reply. To run this game on modern (Windows*) systems, you just need to use dgvooodoo. Also for working music, you need to have a CD/DVD-ROM/RW drive (external USB CD/DVD drive is good too), so that the audio is playing from the CD. * With Proton, Lutris etc. it should work on Linux too, however I didn't try.

Cover game? It is true, that EA's NFSU2 had a much bigger budget than this game, so one could say, this is the poor man's version of it, somehow. Maybe... To be honest, it doesn't really matter. This game is still available as of this writing (that is 14 May 2023) to legally buy and own the license on many PC digital games stores, while NFSU2 is only left in memories and some DVDs. Hi. If I remember correctly, I used in the General tab under the Apperance the option Full Screen = Scaling mode and on the DirectX tab I had set the Resolution option to Max or Desktop. Things that work for me is no guarantee, that it will work for you or others.

Sorry, I would like to help, but don't really know what differences there are between the old ISO (CD) version and the GOG version. I can only imagine, that they did some kind of patch and probably use a fixed EXE file, that doesn't need CD/ISO.
