I've seen it catch a few people out, particularly in the wet. The best line to take into the corner is over the steepest part as well. It's a shame that they have sanitised all the trails though. Used to be much gnarlier. @@Mx-38

@@niseach yes I I’ve done this trial before years ago on a full sus but forgot all about it so took it steady. The rest of the place I found pretty easy on a hardtail one you got the lines down. The sanitised bits are flatout but still they’ve kept some gnarly outcrops so it a strange contract. Found it good if not a little challenge less. Only line that was too sketchy on a ht was re powder that I had to dab down

Trying to see through that dust at the end coming through people is impossible, GoPro doesn’t show how rough and bumpy the whole lap is and the massive rocks that change position every lap you’ve got to be switched on at all times 😮

How dose the 300 feel over the 250 ? Easier to ride?

It’s got a lot more bottom end like a 450 Does. You have to ride them more like a 4stroke. This rm was running a little weak tbh my other bike is a tm 300 that’s got a lot of bottom doesn’t Rev like a 250 2 stroke.

@@FlatpeakTerminator no probs. I’d always go for a factory built 300. This rm build up was done by Eric gore in Iowa, he’s known as a 2 stroke god but it’s never really ran right nothing to do with him I don’t think the engine and parts are just under a lot of strain as it wasn’t designed to be 300cc. Honestly the lack of Rev isn’t a bad thing they’re so powerful you don’t need it at all. Go 300sx for sure 👍🏻

Great track have ridden it a fair bit over the years but not for a while. Setting the old rm 300 for racing this weekend got it somewhere near I think 🤞🏼

It’s with fast eddy who do enduros, but this was the mx track abs stubble added on. There’s an enduro loop but I’m no enduro rider 😂

I was there yesterday and you rode well fella especially later in the moto’s, the vids don’t show how technical the track is to ride, very deep rutted off cambered sections, well done 👏

Didn’t realise you were there mate should of come said hi ! I double entered into the vets race 1 and 2 also, race 3 of this race I was full of cramp so my speed went way off held an expert off though and got 3rd in class. Track is very technical and narrow yes. Race 1 bike wouldn’t tick over so pumped up to death holding Clutch on ever bend 🤦🏼♂️🤦🏼♂️

@@Mx-38 I did in the shobdon club senior races but I’d hardly call it riding more doodling around, I’m getting real bad arm pump after a few laps into races at the moment and I’m already looking for the checkered flag. It’s called old man syndrome but I love it 😂 I will come and say hello next time 👍

@@onlygazza oh I see I wasn’t in that race and couldn’t watch as it was the one before mine. They track always gives me arm pump there’s a lot better of braking and cambers that really make you load up on the arms. I’m going to Babel this Sunday

It rides well, a modern day 300 is probably pretty comparable to an old cr or kx but a lot more user friendly

Thanks but have you ridden the TM530? I wish there was more on the TM’s. I’m thinking of either buying a TM300MX or TM530MX. I have a Husaberg 450 4 stroke and KX500. I like horsepower and to be scared of the power haha. I don’t know what TM to go for?

It’s great, broad power range, suspension can take a bit of fiddling to get set up to how you like but apart from that, a good strong, reliable bike. Oh and very fast !!!

At a race it’s a 2nd gear start, then to 3rd the. Any long straits to 4th but some tracks it’s 3rd all the way. The way tm say to ride their big bore 2 strokes is in 3rd, suspension works way better and the torque is like a 450 out of the tight parts, less spin more bite !
