The fact that she disolved slowly and disapears means she is hollow and due to round things having a higher surface area to volume ratio which means the end of her tail and arms should melt quicker which would create holes allowing the soda to go inside her thus melting her neck, also if she's hollow where are her organs?

It's a good song but how are the merfolk big enough to jump from the ocean to a cup of soda yet small enough to see the cup as an ocean and be desolved by soda in minutes, if they were small enough to not notice the difference between a glass and the ocean due to the square cube law their terminal velocity would be nearly 0 so they would be able to fly in, take a few bites of the cherry and back or even to the top of the cherry. Edit: at 0:56 the (auto-translated) subtitles "the scales of the sparkling sugar" which when you remove the 2nd "the" implies the scales are made of sugar which would disolve faster in the ocean. In conclusion the senario in the song could never happen. Edit: "ice cliff" is soda served frozen in Japan, like the fun part of soda is the fizzyness, and I don't think that mixes well with frozenness so why would hou serve it frozen. Edit: the picture shows her haed is slightly bigger than the cherry so how does she think the glass is an ocean, also at that size she could swim to the top in seconds and pull herself out the glass. Edit: many have fallen in so that means 2 things, 1: the soda has bean there along time; and 2: there should be bones and human flesh, this raises many questions such as "how is there an ice cliff" "how is there space to swim in the glass" "why doesn't the drinker notice the displacement of the soda" "After many mermaids jumped for the cherry why not just take the cherry out the glass" "shouldn't the dissolving merfolk change the taste" "After this amount of time shouldn't the soda be mostly if not completely drank thus making the glass safe" as you can see the senario in the song is nonsense.
