They're dressed like cheerleaders at a basketball game. That's how cheerleaders dress.

Yup. It's either that or those really tight shorts. I mean, I've seen the Dallas cowboys cheerleaders wear those. In kpop, it would be Twice's "cheer up" era. I can tolerate when they wear the shirt/tie look but when K-pop idols wear super nice clothes on stage, it actually looks quite awkward. The sporty girl look is actually more fitting in this era more specifically. People bash K-pop for wearing skirts or those shorts, but it's honestly no different to cheerleaders.
