Nursery Cryme, Foxtrot, and Selling England by the pound are the ultimate trilogy of albums, every song a classic in its own right, basically Gabriel led Genesis are untouchable, even A Trick of the Tail is spectacular especially Mad Man Moon and Squonk, in fact the whole album.

1971 and I was 23. and taking classes at the University of Maryland, My friend introduced me to Genesis, We listened to it up in his attic music room. I got to see the group when they performed in Baltimore. Fantastic show. After the Album Duke. I was exploring other musical paths

Just found this band, and I see that nearly no one has reacted to anything from this band. As someone has said here, Tag Verweil is also my favorite track from this band, followed by the next track on this album, Nacht Verweil. The whole freaking album is just beautiful and amazing. Wish someone would do a full reaction of the album on KZbin.

It's a pity you didn't get all the references like the Baseball theme or the Simpsons theme. Or even the ragtime interlude. But even despite that, a genius song perormed my genius musicians :) Greetings to neighbor Netherlands!

Felt in love with this group on a little compilation : into the Sun . So loud / melodic . Extremly good .Saw thèm live . Zéro weakness live , perfect and powerfull singer / drummer : incredible energy . Rare .

I saw them in ‘78-79, and yes they were phenomenal ! The bad part is that it means you’d be old now like I am! Molly Hatchet opened for them, and were unknown at the time, & actually stole the show! :)
