@LGUSA I just fixed it. I gingerly tried pulling on the hinge many times. And in one of the tries, the hinge did come down and then I went ahead to fix the door etc etc. Never been soo relieved. Had I know that I would get a prompt response.....I wouldn't have worried so much or tried various options till the hinge gave in 😁. Appreciate the quick response.

Finally, after checking the hose and filter, plug the washer back in and run a rinse and spin cycle to see if the water drains properly.
