XG has got more pop. The OG 2.0 will be $1250 and is a bit bigger than the OG here. This is the end of the OG line, after this batch they are going to be $1250 but a bit bigger and have a control head UI. I’m 6’, 240 and the Og gets me around just fine. Thanks for asking . Be well.

@ClintonRides 2 ай бұрын
@@householderm1 Not mine, Heybikes. Cut/paste. Moreover, I agree with you. Advertising peak watts vs static Watt is both confusing to the customer and is not an accurate representation of how the product performs. It should only be static watts or whatever is stamped on the rear hub. I have this conversation in the shop all day. It’s a bad practice to confuse people on an already complicated product. I imagine they “dyno “ it and are able to achieve that output without any resistance or weight. Advertising peak wattage is stupid and I wish HeyBike did not do it. No one rides at peak wattage , and the average consumer is already confused about what that means out of the gate.

I do like very much the motorcycle look, it's awesome. My only negative issue, I'm not an expert, it looks to me having a very high baricentrum (very little weight at the bottom) wouldn't that affect the vehicle's stability? I agree speeds are not exceptional but nevertheless... Food for thoughts.
@ClintonRides
@ClintonRides 2 ай бұрын
That is the 10 dollar word of the day. Going to add it to my lexicon. "Baricentrum". I get what you are saying. Here is why it doesn't matter, or doesn't matter a lot. You are not tearing up the pavement with this. It is surprisingly agile and fast off the line, but tops out quickly. It is smaller than you may think, and is lighter than you may think. Granting a similar degree of "man powering" to do what you want. Like for instance, when I pull into my garage with it. I still just depress the rear brake and pick it up and over on the tire patch. I think the issue you are describing would be an issue if the machine itself had more output. It is really just a bike shaped like a motorcycle. It is fun for tooling around at 20mph in town, past that. I agree with your comment fully.

Finally looks like an e-bike that'd work with someone who'd have to heft it up stairs. I have been looking for an alternative to the bus, and a compromise between pedal assist bikes and escooters. I had an escooter for a while with a seat, but at over 40 pounds it was too heavy to heft up the stairs. I like that it has a rear only hand brake to avoid flipping it.

Hello Cody, thank you for your favorable review of the newest addition to our GOBIKE Trike lineup, the GOBIKE TRIO. The TRIO is a fantastic combination of functionality and fun. We reduced the size and weight of this trike to make it easier to ride and we added he folding capability for easier transport and storage. We gave the TRIO a 500 watt motor for stronger acceleration and power, but we also gave it phenomenal stopping power by way of its two braking systems. The front brake is a hydraulic hand brake and the rear brake is a coaster brake that engages when the rider pushes backwards on the pedals. Applying both brakes simultaneously gives the TRIO the ultimate stopping power. Thanks again from the GOBIKE team!

Nice to see this. I bought one of these with 59 miles on it on Facebook Market place for $230.00. Great deal, right? It was a victim of Hurricane Ian and need a complete rebuild. I just completed it, but have not ridden it yet due to a week's worth of downpours. Electronics survived, except the battery, (I have another bike with the same battery) Motor was toast, lucky me, I had a spare. Replaced the derailleur & cable, chain, bottom bracket and powder coated it. I replaced the crankset, even though it survived, to try and eliminate ghost pedaling. I may take it for a quick ride this morning if it's not to wet out there. Is this bike still being made? I see a lot of changed on the M2S/Forest website.
@ClintonRides
@ClintonRides 3 ай бұрын
Dude, $230 bucks. You got a Ferrari for the cost of a Pinto. Great deal. I try not to explicitly state In the videos that I have multiple e-bikes for various purposes because it sounds like a smarmy thing to say. Obviously this is a public post but it’s feels odd saying that during reviews. Regardless, point is. This IS the ebike I personally use for EMBT. The step thru just like this one. I still think Euphree is the best general specialist in Ebikes, the Stellar Falcon is sick, but it can’t do what this bike can. I also don’t think it should. It’s hard to grapple with the concept of how particular a Ebike can be, and how they are engineered to specific use cases. I wouldn’t recommend this bike for a daily driver. This bike has one job, and it’s damn good at it. M2S makes remarkable stuff. It’s interesting because you can have identical specs and identical manufacturing components and some brands just know how to engineer them together correctly. I’m a huge fan of their products. Unfortunately they moved away from the dealership model. I am effectively out of inventory and won’t reup. But of all the Ebike EMTB entries I still am partial to them. That said, it sucks riding it around town and stuff like that. I find that I ride it like a motorcycle on pavement, almost never turning the wheel. All tilt turning. Not for everyone and definitely not for smaller framed folks. It’s a big boy. However, if your sole purpose is to have a hyper capable EMTB. This is what’s up. I sold a bunch of them, none came back for issues. That alone says a ton. Great deal you got, sounds like it bolsters my take on how durable they are. Have a good 4th.

@@ClintonRides I also bought an Ian flooded Rad Rover 5. It was just powder coated, this one needs a complete rebuild. The only salvageable parts were the frame, the derailleur hanger and the rear wheel, minus the rusted up motor. Luckily again, I have a lot of the parts already. Should be fun.

UPDATE: We are out of BLACK step thru Stellar Falcons. Euphree is discontinuing that color. That is not a rumor. That is from my rep direct. This is a company being smart. Euphree can not keep bikes instock. They are incredibly popular, and Euphree has chosen to take it's slowest selling color off the market. THIS is how to manufacture an Ebike. Don't have 40 models. Have 2 AMAZING models. Do one thing, do it right. Steamline it. My apologies to those requesting black. Unless you can find them in the wild. They are gone, and are not coming back.

I like the City Robin X +, but I'm leaning more towards the Stellar Falcon because it has the wider tires. I like the feel of a bike with wider tires because of the stability. If I swap out the seat on the Stellar Falcon with the one from the City Robin X+, do you think that would improve its comfort enough?
@ClintonRides
@ClintonRides 4 ай бұрын
I did the same exact video with the Stellar Falcon on this day. I love everything Euphree makes. Heres my problem. I love electric mountain biking. I’m spoiled with choice. So technically, YES the stellar falcon is a more capable EMTB than the city robin x+. In a mountain biking scenario. Making it a mediocre EMTB and a good trail or street bike. The City Robin is just so good period. I have trouble getting into another bike for EMBT that isn’t a 4.5” tire with a 750+ motor. The stuff you can pull off with 4.5” tires and a good motor makes me feel super human. The stellar falcon can do the same terrain, it’s just struggling to do so. I don’t think it would be wise to put that big seat on something you were actually going to mountain bike with. But I am sure we can do that. What is your primary use for the bike? Perhaps I can make a better suggestion or modification. Thanks-Cody

🎉 JackRabbits are selling like hotcakes. I got new inventory in to reflect that. I have Jacks in every color available and I got the RangeBuster 40 mile combo (including the battery it comes with) I will say. It’s a bit clunky on the frame. I got it specifically for my kid , so he didn’t have to worry charging it every night. After seeing him on it, I took it off. It was too cumbersome and I was concerned about how it would impact his safety while riding. He’s a kid, so this isn’t an issue if you’re an adult, but thought it was worth mentioning.

I had the opportunity to ride the Stellar Falcon for the past 3 days. The reception from customers was overwhelming, after we got it into inventory last week. So, aside from a casual test ride. I actually took it out. I would say this bike is for casual mountain bikers, not hardcore. They are splitting 2/3 bikes depending on how you classify each category. Commuter, Cruiser, and EMTB. It is solid, and reasonably comfortable for cruising around town. Taking it 8 miles on loose gravel it did just fine. I would say no to your question/statement. If you are a hardcore mountain biker, the trade offs made by creating this Hybrid exclude it from anything at a high level. It is too comfortable, and the angle of attack is too soft to get uber serious on it. If you are a casual, moderate trail rider it would do fine. Blue Diamond, based on a technical description of what comprises a Blue. Yes. Black, I don't think it's there. Hope that helps. Enjoy the riding season.

David, solid observation. When I first unboxed it (I think I mentioned this in the video) I didn't even understand what it was. I thought the lock was a packaging component. My mechanic pointed out packaging components don't usually have locks. Anyway, YES same thing. I am a dealer for Euphree, I kid you not, just moments ago I took the new Euphree Stellar Falcon out to pick up food and dude...that thing rips. Anyway, Back to your comment. I spoke to Euphree about this. I can't tell if this is horsesh*t or not. But it's a "forget-me-not key". The only version where that makes sense is how almost all of my 2021-23 Ebikes came with keys. And 3 stage turn keys at that. Like car keys do. One click for electric on. Second click for all systems on, and you can then remove key. People lost keys constantly, and it was a huge problem. Key is lost, bike is dead in the water. Expensive, frustrating, and not easy to fix depending on which brand I was selling. Post Pandemic a bunch of these companies folded outright. We would have to get a locksmith to remove cylinders. Recently, all of my 2024 inventory seems to be going keyless. Brands seems to be doing away with keys all together. I agree with that. It's a bike, lock it up just like you would anything you care about. With a good, HUB protected bike lock. That key stuck in the lock only really makes engineering sense if you design it so it is so small, that you are not rubbing against it during cranks. So, yup. Should have been added to the CON list. Thank you for pointing it out. Smart idea, poor execution.

I neglected to mention this in the video. Which is done so well, it caused me to miss it. This is only one of 3 Ebikes I carry that have all the cables encased. The vast majority of Ebikes have all these cable arrays that are zip tied together. I even add additional zip ties to certain lines to make the unit more attractive, and less prone to a "snag disconnection". Snags can be dangerous to the rider, if it manages to catch a large bundle. Riders have got tea over kettle for sure, due to poor cable management. The City Robin X+ has no cables to manage, they are piped internally. I said it before, and I will say it again. This is my favorite Ebike in the shop. After having this pointed out to me, it just added to it. The Robin is so pretty and well made. I didn't even notice that they had solved for this. Looks so clean next to its peers. Free test rides and orders available at the shop. Take care all. -Cody @clintonrides.
