It’s nice when the big boys get gobbled up by a 1500cc ? . Add lightness

Get past an accident as quickly as possible , coming to a virtual stop wont help anyone and its just asking to get leathered up the arse by a clown like the Porsche wizzing by into the armco. Golf was lucky not to get collected there. I know there was a fair bit of debris but grass was pretty clear , self preservation got to kick in.
@RockathaАй бұрын
Depends on what the grass was like. It has rained alot recently so it could have sodden. As a marshal I would rather get through safely than risk getting stuck also.

I'm not sure that is good advice

That's why you need marshals.... blind hill, marshal stand at the top that is NOT manned!!!!

@@masi1167 not the track days I teach at. Go look at my videos. They are manned.
@RockathaАй бұрын
There would have been marshals. Also Brands Hatch has electronic light signs which would have been on alerting the 992 driver to the danger ahead.

Lucky escape. On another point if I bought a Porsche and it sounded like a rattly ancient beetle I'd be rather disappointed in it..

911 was coming in way to fast, not to sure what he was doing?
@arikcz2 ай бұрын
the area of the accident is after the dip in the road past the bridge. It was hard to see the debris from the crest. He probably panicked when he saw it too late, and locked the brakes

0:07 So I learn from this that ABS in 911’s doesn’t actually work…..
@xz95922 ай бұрын
It appears what you were actually doing was rubbernecking and blocking the only safe route, causing another crash. I hope that wasn't the case but that is how it appears in the video.

An insult rather than an explanation. That tells me all I need to know. I urge all drivers to learn from videos like this. Dont block escape routes. Get out of the way as quickly as you can, safely.

What kind of software/ computer hardware did you use? I would love to be able to build something like this, but am unfamiliar with the programming end of things. The last time I used a microcontroller was ten years ago in high school and it was a Parallax BASIC Stamp.
