Dunno, never liked the ugly design of Colossus - just an ugly robot with a lazer and 2 hands. Soul Reaper is even worse with his bloated ball shape.

Commanders aren't finished yet - besides the basics they still lack all their upgrades, chassis changes and Unique(to a faction, likely also to a chassis too) abilities. Devs focused on making the very core of game work for now and proper commanders is not it yet. You just need to wait.

The game definitely is very similar in the core, and simce the core is only thing present here, of course it is gonna look almost identical. But no, there will be a lot of olnew stuff - drones, commander chassis, weather control, sphere shattering and much more. But let's say it wouldn't have all this new extra stuff and it was complete copy - every supcom fan would still buy this game simply for all the QoL features, connection stability and optimization alone. If people like supcom, they would happily buy same supcom but better. Oh, also sounds can't be the same, since they have completely different guy working on them. Icons are also only similar in style(like every other game in this genre), which invalidates it's use in your argument.

Yea, decs didn't do much marketing yet outside of last 2 PAX events and bunch of videos - devs are busy preparing for the upcomming kickstarter that will have public demo.

Well, your wish will come true, but not in the way you expect it to :D. There will be no tactical missiles or TMDs - this niche is gonna be taken by drones and anti-drone weapons. Missiles will just be another type of your basic weapons/projectiles( some with homing, some not).

I can see where you're coming from. But the game isn't even out yet, so give it time to cook. Plus if no AAA studio is going to do RTS like this, then who will? Plus it's always nice to see the passion people put into a project plus not sure if you're all aware but even the guy that made Supcom and TA loved what he saw from these guys.

Yes, I have noticed in the comment sections of other Sanctuary videos that people really want more close up views and I totally agree! Sanctuary has the graphics for some epic close up shots.

They will have it, and even more - they will be able to change their chassis(entire model basically) to specialize for your needs, like a very strong dedicated combat chassis, or maybe support engineering one that stays in base, etc.

If you want only to play the game, just wait for FREE public demo later this year during kickstarter. If you can wait fir free demo - wait. If you literaly cannot wait and have extra 100 dollars to support devs with - there is an option

it's prealpha. not etven beta. half of their units have no textures, animations and attacks whatsoever. thavy hasn't even been added yet. it's just core atm. i think in the end it will be quite fancy.

1)You can sign up for Tier 5 patreon support( but you should treat it as supporting devs first and foremost - if you only want to play it, for what gameplay the game has right now, it is not worth 100$) 2)Wait for a kickstarter that will have free public demo. It should happen sometimes this year.

I personally really like the design - it is logical and looks exactly like a real military would have made a mobile control center for a whole crew with future technology. Why use complicated bipedal design that doesn't even provide stability, when you can get absolute mobility over hard terrain/mud/water/whatever with hover engines.

@@davidliefrink9818 I know that just trying to point things out that need alot of work... we will see how close to this it ends up...I honestly miss bipedal acu.. it looks more like a commander or leader while this looks like a regular unit or tank

​@@peterc504Chosen will have a bipedal ACU, since it us in their style to show off and show their superiority of perfect body. EDA on other hand care more about efficency than beautiful design - they have a whole crew of people in the ACU and it doesn't make sense for them to use bipedal design Guard ACU is basicaly a giant walking data/computing center and it needs 5 legs for proper mobility. This is the idea behind tgeur design choices and how to make them look differently. I personally really like EDA hover design, since it is so much different from others and looks exactly like a mobile command center would be made by humans with future technology.

This was done by combining 3 AI models 1 for the voice recognition, 1 for text to speech and then GPT-3.5 for the brain of the cat. For displaying the cat I used VTube studio but you can use Unity as well.
