It is not out. The snikvo is main for the ultra to fine edge. We have seen so many edges during IPL. Umpire gives based on the snicker only. Visual thinking and taking decisions on that is not correct. You go by the Technology and Snicker is for that purpose only. In such crowds the bowler is 22 yards and keeper is 22yards are able to see the sound. But the bat and mic stump is hardly 6 feet. It would have definitely picked. The Umpire is looking for serious replays to give out.

Questionable characters these Indians.kohli, who thinks hes bigger than the game, gets a tap on the wrist for a clear shoulder bump, then Gavasker later suggests young Indian opening batsman not out due to " an illussion" change of direction with the travel of the ball.Poor sportsmanship when clearly out caught behind.

It was probably one of the most exciting game of cricket I have witnessed. Either side opportunities to win and as a result it came down to the wire. Good for cricket as a whole particularly Test cricket. Sydney will be another exciting match by both talented teams!

Its only controversial because India are crying over the correct decision being made and now want to take their bat and ball and go home. The footage @1:34 clearly shows a big deviation of the ball off either the glove or the bat. Just because sniko was not working properly does not mean it is not out.

Good video to get a feel of the ground atmosphere. There appears to a be deflection(edge) but nothing on ultra-edge ! which exposes the shortcomings of ultra-edge(Like in the Rahul case too). Regardless of this dismissal, other than Jaiswal-Pant it was a shoddy batting performance against some exceptional bowling.
