Hi nice vid. I just want to know how do 1080p youtube videos look and does it upscale well. Please test it for me because i might get it. The lg did a very bad job upscaling videos had to return it and lose money on it.

Standard HD looks really good on this set especially Netflix however broadcast picture isn't so great but most tvs nowadays struggle with it

Other than a few minor tweaks and upgrades, I can't imagine that it's too too much more. Maybe some peak brightness. Maybe a little bit better processing because this is using the new neuro quantum processor but picture quality I'd say they're probably about the same. Honestly, motion's really good on this TV though, but I have noticed that the black levels on this TV are near OLED black. When you're watching HDR movies. It amazes me that they can get that close now with a mini LED TV, but they are

ps4 blu-ray player sucks compare to the xbox one i had i know this cuz i had the ps4 let talk about ps4 so u know when i put the dvd and bluray discs in the console it was loud as fuk when i rewind it it had this car indgon noise xbox wins as a blu-ray player it was so quit when i put the disc in and rewind it cant understand why some people think ps4 or ps5 has a better blu-ray player then xbox or p's what i like about the xbox more then the 4 i can do my music cds that garbage sony 5 cant do

Just found a q80c 85 inch at samclub on clearance for some reason 999.99 with 5 year warrenty. I researched it while i was there and im very happy with it for the price. Not sure why it was so cheap it was the last one

Yeah I have the same TV and the new PS5 VRR update, but it still looks terrible. Stuttering framerate and a dark picture. I think they really didng do a good job adding VRR to these TVs. I just keep it on enhanced mode. 60fps with bright picture is the way to go.

I thought with the Quantum Dot-tecnology to help reduce glare and maintain image quality under challenging lighting conditions with the Q80C It's supposed to be a significant Improved? Seeing that door reflection certainly made me bit less certain of buying this. QLED are already supposed to be doing a good job with this, and with the extra new features, I had the Impression this was not a Issue at all? This make me think a anti-reflection filter Is crucial to get (If possible at all with this one).

80C has a better processor and gets brighter. Idk what you mean by quality. Both TV’s will last the same. The 80C has a better processor and will be better in the next 5 years vs a cheaper processor.

Excellent comments and review, I bought the LGOLED65C7 in Nov 2017, the picture quality is phenomenal, especially when playing a 4K disc through a Panasonic UHD player. I suffered horrible screen burn and image retention and only last week (Dec 2023) Curry's (Retailer) replaced the OLED panel free of charge under warranty. The new OLED panel looks amazing and I have the Picture Mode set of TechniColour Expert (Dark Mode) - Which offers a brilliant natural looking images, but essentially tames the OLED brightness right down to 60. You have to protect the panel and look after it, no 100 OLED brightness, regular pixel refresher and set the timer for 60 mins so the TV will never remain on for any longer than 60 minutes unattended - Even today 6 years +, not many OLED TV stand anywhere near this - Back then there was nothing like this on the market and real benchmark and statement from LG. One more thing all 4 HDMI are HDCP 2.2. Next TV new Samsung 8K 900C series. Happy viewing.. 👍👍👍

@@RobbiePfunder ya man I got the new one and it works amazingly nothing wrong with it , Samsung even doubled on the shipping wrapping and bumper guards, last night I ended up buying the Samsung Q990B sound bar system, it’s the 2022 model but brand new and I got it for a crazy low price compared to this years model more then half the price 😂, it was on clearance , it was ether this one or the 800c witch is this years model but the Q990B comes with surround speakers and more channels for the same price lol

Have you noticed any backlight bleeding across the bottom of your screen when watching movies that have the black bars on the top and bottom? I’ve returned 3 of these because I thought there were defective. Now I’m wondering if this is normal.

Great review, thanks. I had to return the S90C 77" because of motion handling and flicker on the TV. Thinking this or the QN85. The QN85 is brighter, but ive also seen it have black crush in some movie scenes that i saw in a review. Almost thinking of sticking to the basics here.

@@reinulf656 Some people may not be able to see any of the issues i was having. I think it may have been related to the native refreah rate or the pulse width modulation. I got the 75" Q70 and absolutely love it.

@@WILDDUCKY1892 the hdr on the xbox, for some reason when it's active(the hdr10 option) the screen goes black for 2 seconds when opening and closing a game, i found no other way to fix it so i turned it off, also in some games it displays wrong colors or the blacks becomes purple-like colors

@a.t.6432 in your xbox settings do you have YCC 4:2:2 activated or not? Since a few people saying with other tvs if they turn it on they stop having a black screen or they turn it off then it works then on it works like it's a chance for it to work one game works with hdr with it on then it works with it off if they start up a new game it definitely seems to be an xbox issue

I can't remember the exact difference between these 2 (perhaps the panel type) , but i can say for sure that it isn't much. Both 55"+ have 120hz screen with 2.1 hdmi ports so the Q70c still a good option and pretty overkill for gaming and normal stuff right now.

Stay away from the Q70C. I've heard of so many complaints about bleeds. That's why it's so cheap for a 120hz

The Q80c has poor native contrast but it has some local dimming with few zones. The Q70c has a much higher native contrast panel but no local dimming.
