I mean the heartline roll makes sense because on maverick's old heartline roll people would be totally fine it was just removed because it put a lot of stress on the trains

I see this working as a launched coaster. Also maybe loop the track around so it re-enters the spike in the same direction as it started.

I keep coming back to this coaster, plenty of “world’s tallest” coaster creations on KZbin but this seems like something some crazy park might actually build in the future, unlike the Falcon’s Flight coaster which is just larger than life

You can make Lego bricks with custom supports a its mind numbing process but you can make anything with them. I made a whole matainace shop with custom track and a invisible section going through it and made a pallet with and a car sitting on it with another invisible segment

We need a fix about that the train will be flipped 180 degrees every time it does a cycle. We need to make control surfaces as lift chain dogs and brake fins and stuff work in both ways somehow
@Silacide6 ай бұрын
Maybe you could print your own cart that has a zero-car so the front wheels can bank independently from the back ones? I think that would solve a lot of issues already!
@SnowghostFilms6 ай бұрын
Designing better trains is something I would like to do in the future, with a front axle, upstop and side friction wheels, retractable chain dog and possibly a brake fin. This would be very hard and is currently beyond not only my physical recourses, but my time resources as school is taking a gigantic amount out of me.

Looks super smooth! I'm working on a piece that turns and banks at the same time, and my current method for creating it has me using about 90 small cylinders to create the turn, which gives it a slightly rough surface. How did you manage to make these pieces so smooth in tinkercad?
@SnowghostFilms6 ай бұрын
I used a “Spring” shape in order to create a spiral that I stretched out to the necessary length, with the tube thickness being set in the shape settings. The result isn’t a perfect smooth rail, but something that will function. The spine was mainly so that I don’t have to configure a side plate that the current LEGO rails (4 stud being the exception) have.

This is awesome but please make yourself a favor and use Fusion 360 or Onshape. You can make parametric CAD models quicker and better than you could ever do a noraml one in Tinkercad.

Ok few things about this, 1 I feel like the GCI would’ve valleyed on a few of the hills, 2 the arrow transitions are way, WAY too snappy for arrow, if you look at coasters like the original steel phantom, the drop was constantly banking on the way down. Arrow transitions were very gradual. And i think the ZGR on the premier might be just a bit too fast. That’s all. Nice tho

For me, that heartline roll wasn't the fact that it felt like murder, but it felt like it ruined the suspense of disbelief. That steep dive before the heartline roll absolutely made my jaw drop because of how different, crazy, and exciting it looked. It honestly felt like it was something possible in the real world. But that roll kind of made me switch emotions since it felt out of place compared to the rest of an otherwise very impressive ride! Oh, and simulation data must be off somewhere, because 1.1 lateral Gs, on two heartline rolls over 130 mph? I have a hard time believing that. By comparison, the fastest inversion in any roller coaster right now is Maxx Force at a 60 mph zero-g roll.

Would be great if you could create a 45 degree corner piece rather than just have 90 degree turns.

DO A CORKSCREW!!!! THIS IS AMAZING
@marktegrotenhuis2 ай бұрын
The standard LEGO roller coaster trains won't handle that. The don't stick to the track when hanging upside down. They only mange loops because of centrifugal forces pushing the cars to the track if the speed is high enough. A corkscrew basically has the opposite effect, with centrifugal forces wanting to pull the train off the tracks.
