Mmm yes.... Lesson learnt lol. It was quite the experience. Maybe not quite as good as the ones I made you, but wood-smoked, Flambé was still pretty yummy. 🔥

In 22 I let go of the life I’d been hanging onto for far too long. A business I had started and poured myself into for 10 years. A relationship, friends and belongings. It was hard to come to terms with but now I see the gift it was. I can totally relate to your video. Thank you.

@Daninreallife247 It's always hard at the time we make those massive changes, but as we move through it, it feels so much better. I'm glad you can see the gift now, and I hope your life continues to blossom into new and wonderful things 🩷 Thank you for taking the time to comment 🥰

Hey you two! I just bought my Coaster and I live on the Sunny Coast as well! My kids are doing so well and soon enough I’ll make my get away! Getting the bus has made my direction so much clearer to see now. Thank you for the video because they help keep the dream going too. All the best.

These two incredible adventures with our mate Andy, were definitely highlights during our time in Tassie. If you are travelling in Australia and get the opportunity to visit the Mystery Caves and then hike to Hartz Peak, we highly recommend. If you've already done them, we'd love to hear from you - drop a message in the comments below. Tell us your experience. Happy travels 🩶

Thanks for sharing your views of this little piece of paradise. Living the dream many of us are too afraid to undertake...
@outdoors53523 ай бұрын
I generally don't think it's being afraid that keeps people back, it's commitments like time, money, work, mortgage and children/family. We all like holidays, and I'm sure most people would travel more if they could.
@SalandAnth3 ай бұрын
@@outdoors5352I believe everything has seasons. 10 years ago wouldn't have been the right time for us. We are living our dream, now, in this moment, and it is so right. Back then, it wouldn't have been the right time. It's a new chapter for us, for sure. And definitely an amazing one. My hope is to inspire those who have the same dream. Anything is possible in the right season ❤

I like your door blocking off the cab. I also have a front wall in a similar spot behind the seats, but can't block it off all the time as I have a large dog and I need her to be able to use the cab area for her bed space. Makes controlling the heat more difficult but I will just use window coverings instead. I am thinking of still putting the door in though so I can close it when we are driving, and as you say, it gives you more space to hang storage which you can never have too much of!
@SalandAnth4 ай бұрын
That's a great plan. What about a door with a doggy-door?
@AGirlADogandABus4 ай бұрын
I too am not having a built in shower. For me though it wasn't about preserving the view, but having more space for storage of other things that I need to run my handmade business. I will probably get an evershower too or make my own DIY version of one. $16,000 is a crazy amount just for installation of your electrical. I paid $13,000 for my set up including all parts and labour for the electrician to install. I have 1300W solar, 300Ah of 24v lithium batteries, 240v cables and power points, DC/DC charger, the same cerbo gx monitoring system you have and all Victron gear. Cost me almost as much as the bus itself, but as you say it is so worth it to have quality gear and be able to be totally off grid.
@SalandAnth4 ай бұрын
The extra storage space from not having a full shower was an added bonus for sure :) Of the total cost of our build (not counting the Coaster itself), the electrical system was about half!

That shower is quite interesting. My new rig will have a small shower or better - wet bath - installed, but that looks really interesting to converse water. Great built you have put together.
