But to open your tonneau cover you have to remove the bar.... and whatever you have on top. Better to have a retractable tonneau cover like the Retrax and they come with T-Slots. Better option IMO.

There’s a drop down option for full size or midsize vehicles. They categorize them as “universal” or “t track system” depending on the truck bed you have.

Its an awesome tent system. I put min in my four x eight utility trailer. Downside, the fiber poles are shit. They splinter and fracture. Need to be aluminium.

@@windowcreek1798 we really enjoyed it and liked how the bottom section had so much room! Luckily we sped up the set up portion because we struggled with the poles haha!

Just bought a set myself, and I can't wait for it to get here! We are going to use it to mount our kayaks up so they're not taking up bed space anymore. Im really glad to see the bars fit well over the trifold cover. I have the same style. Love yall's videos! Hope to see more!!

Hey Joe! Is the truck a long bed or short bed? I saw your other video with the tent and man it fits perfect. I’m thinking of doing same on my Nissan Frontier and the Billie bars seem the easiest to install.

Hi Joe! My truck is the short bed version. The Billy bars are extremely easy to install. I have the universal kit for my truck, but if your truck comes with a bar in the bed, they have hardware for that as well if not, universal kit will work perfect too.

Looks like a great camp! I was in Henderson, NV several years back and I think that it's in a great spot. I visited Red Rock Canyon and I wanted to see Sloan Canyon, but time didn't permit. Thanks for the video!

I'm 6'4" 265 and my wife is 5'4" 110... an air mattress is a no go. After looking for a long time at various solutions we got a futon mattress (full size) and it works awesome and is a great insulator. It rolls up decently compact, but it is way bigger and heavier than an air mattress. The sacrifice in size and weight we are happy to trade for the comfort and warmth the futon gives. It's surprising how much heat you lose when you're on a steel truck bed with just an air mattress separating you from the truck. I have the same Napier setup, it works awesome for trips up into the backcountry on roads I can't bring our toy hauler.

We haven’t really solved the mattress situation but we’re thinking a tri fold mattress would be best but it takes up a lot of storage space. So, we just use the blowup mattress and deal with it haha

Mirror mode （Selfie Flip）can be turned on and off in the DJI Mimo APP. Of course, you can also choose to flip the video in post-production.

@joeyandsarah, @5:25, I suggest keeping a couple MREs stashed behind the back seats. Hate rolling in late and finding out a food place is closed. I learned the hard way. It’s even worse if you roll in after a long hike…

It was cold and rainy and I barely had a decent enough tarp to cover my stove for soup, let alone the issue with not having a porch for the tent door, LOL!. Would have been a better start to our vacay if we didn’t have to worry about cooking.

Agreed even on trips where I don't plan to cook, a couple of Peak dehydrated meals come along. Peak stuff costs a few bucks more but it's SO worth it.

@@John_Ridley that’s good, too. IDK about Peak, but with MREs, you get a chemical heater, so no need to start a fire. There again, HOWEVER, if you’re hungry and cold, you probably need a fire anyway, so… Basically, just have SOMEthing to tide you over if necessary.

After years of camping with air mattress and trying different things. Get a self inflating pad . We have the double king camp I’m 6’1 260 and my wife is around 170 and it sleeps great . We just used it for a 4 night music festival. I also sleep on my side and it’s been the best thing we’ve tried.

I always think of the OC series when I look at that pier, but sweet. I also lived a while in Huntington Beach across from its the pier, and this brings back fun memories. Better eats now, though. 😘
