Those Mk 2 Sts were a force to be reconned with! A block mod, and would run 340hp all day, whilst sounding incredible! Rare sight on the road today

@@JamesGlenCarSales1982 the previous owner modded it with an intercooler and exhaust got no proof of power but def over 270bhp as an impreza wrx i had a shot of had approx 273bhp and the st was quicker kept pulling to the red line(on a race track of course!)😄

Tbh, the way it was mapped, the power comes in real nice. Very linear and controllable. I was very pleasantly surprised!

Sound doesn't really come into it with a big diesel like these, although, I wasn't really a fan of the 'speaker in exhaust' in the Audi. Reliability, I'm going to say the 340d, but really only down to having more experience with the BMW though and the fact the Police stopped using the Audi's due to gearbox issues and parts costs will be very similar.

For triple the price Anthony! Not to mention, you would be way more precious with a GT3RS and much much slower. Maybe a GT2 RS (the turbo version), but they're also two/three times the price of this.

They're very small in fairness and many need to do something with the driver seat position. The Corolla, what a mega looking thing. Same running gear as the Yaris, but with 300hp

HI Gregory!! Thanks so much for following it all the way though. Just like most of these projects, we've had our ups and downs with it, but delighted we're out the other end. As much as it's now available for sale, I hope to have some seat time in the car before it finds a new home. Yeah, I get you with the wing, and I would love to change it for something thats a bit more in-keeping with the 996, but our spend on the car has been substantial and we really don't have any budget left to start working on the aesthetics now unfortunately. We'll leave that to the next owner to decide! Stephen

Hi Sam! Against such a formidable car, like a new GT3, it really shows just how quick the car is and speaking from first hand experience, it's an amazing thing to experience from the drivers seat. The car just talks to you constantly, so you know just how hard you can push it. Totally, Anglesey is a mega circuit and when its on the long circuit, lets big power cars like this really stretch their legs! I loved that day!! I even enjoyed driving it home to Scotland afterwards 👍 Stephen

Performance Friction pads are way better than red stuff - give them a go

Need to try the new Ferodo DS3.12 pads, they're unreal. I run them in my 997 GT3 and braking performance is unreal. As long as you don't mind dust!!!

@@JamesGlenCarSales1982 a good friend of ours has one, same colour but on a 23 reg. They're a stunning car and sound amazing!

All the elements of the car are superb, the chassis, the engine and the interior. For me though, I’d be in a 997, although it would be twice the price for the right one, so not really a fair comparison I suppose.
