I have been following your video and it has been going very well :) but, this.props.match.params isn't working for me :( I'm getting the error 'cannot read properties of underfined (reading 'params')'. Do you have any thoughts on why this might not be working?

hi I did the steps as you said and set default int path to my exe. I got an error at output when I 'run code' using code runner: /bin/sh: python: command not found any thoughts?

Thanks Chris, this was super helpful! One small correction for VSCode v1.74; the parameter in settings.json is now: "python.defaultInterpreterPath": "<your_path>"

As a long time web dev (since '94), I can say that we actually had dynamic pages thanks to CGI capabilities pretty early on, if not along with the first production web servers. That said, I'm also a security engineer and totally agree with you about how important static site generators are. (PHP should be burned from the face of the planet.)

Hi. Followed step by step and successfully installed. I have one question why when I print e g. 56-5 and click run button it does not show the answer in the terminal but when I add print(56-5) it does give the answer. Is vs code not the same as python idle? Thank you.

Hi when I try to put in a breakpoint and run use the debugger I don't see any variables or any information at all when I run it. I suspect there has been an update since this video. How do I see the stored variables at the breakpoint now?

Just to make sure, you out a breakpoint. Run the code in debug mode and it’s not hitting the breakpoint?

Thanks a lot man! I was deploying my personal portfolio site, for which I already had an email set up. After doing things the Netlify recommended way, my e-mail quit working. Your way works great, makes sense to keep things in google domains if you can.

hey! i know i'm late however.. after typing "print(sys.executable)" at the terminal it says "Traceback (most recent call last): File "<stdin>", line 1, in <module> NameError: name 'sys' is not defined" do you have any idea how to resolve this problem?

I think you just need to import sys. You can do this before your print statement by putting 'import sys' without the quotes.
