It's ridiculous that you could buy a whole new ebike for the money they want for these kits.

I have just bought the 1050. I love my 1040 but it is a base version with half the storage space of the 1050. I didn’t realise that 1040 solar has twice the space as the base version. Well I probably would have upgraded eventually.

Are there any units that go below 5km/h? I have an igpsport, and I have to keep auto-pause off, because the stupid sensor outputs 0km/h on technical climbs.

Bullshit claims. Bike speed sensor is as good as its calibration and road quality.

I have the Moofits and they've never failed me. Sometimes it takes a few seconds for my Wahoo Core to recognize them, but it always does. My IGSPort i630 computer always recognizes them immediately. I don't see the point in spending 2 or 3 times more for a brand name since they're probably all made in the same 2 or 3 places and just rebranded, and the technology is pretty established.

In my opinion you missed an important one: suppliers. Bike companies have too many. The frame, the groupset, cables, wheels, tires, everything is made for them. Basically they only design, assembly and if you are lucky maybe they'll paint the bike. Thats already a lot of money without considering they will also themselves be the supplier to an intermediary before the costumer

have the 1040 since 20‘000km. Not bad at all and battery life is amazing! BUT…. in bad light conditions it is often hard to read the map. I ordered the 1050 now, to find out if it performs better. Battery life of the 1050 is not bad at all and if i go for very long rides i take a powerbank with me. The heavy weight of the 1050 is another weird thing, but for races i use the 840 btw.

Is this a really 2x2500 watts motor ?and please,what is the real range for this scooter ,is he better than kukirin g2 master ?
@bike-zone23 күн бұрын
The Obarter D5 and KuKirin G2 Master are both solid electric scooters but have some key differences: Obarter D5: More powerful with dual 2500W motors (5000W total), a higher top speed of 70 km/h, and a longer range of up to 120 km. It also features 12-inch fat tires for stability and a removable battery for convenience. KuKirin G2 Master: Dual 1000W motors (2000W total), max speed of 60 km/h, and a 70 km range. It shines with its 10-inch off-road tires and advanced suspension, perfect for tackling rough terrains. If you want raw power and speed, go for the D5. For off-road adventures and comfort, the G2 Master is a better choice.
