When I started catching your videos, I had no hope of ever flying a helicopter myself. Then my circumstances suddenly changed and as I type I have had a licence for more than two years. But I still watch your stuff, because it captures the feeling so well - sitting in the cockpit with the noise-cancelling headset, I just don't remember how visceral the experience of a helicopter landing close by actually is.

Whats everyones favourite helicopter? For me Bell 206 used to be MD/Hughes 500 but after going up in a Bell 206 I fell in love with them again

Brilliant! I had my first ever helicopter flight last weekin an R22. It was a trial lesson for my 70th birthday, it was absolutely superb!

Original style, good 5' hover, mind your tail, you'll be fine..unless you want to land like a dragonfly in the wild rocks, brush, water, etc.."terrain".. Low skids worked fine in Vietnam.. Such a simple, safe, and amazing performing bird! I'm preferential to the model 369HE..a friend had one..❤Old "3 piece" vs T tail

@@BabbittdaWabbitt anytime on my 70th birthday that's the next helicopter I want to ride in I'm here in Washington state so let's see if they have a outfit that does tours what that type of bird I rode the jet Ranger into Mount Saint Helens that was very very good take care :-) Happy New Year
