Not sure if something has changed -- I just got my dual channel now, and did a reset, got it into advance, but when I do hold on 9 from off, flash 1, click 1, I have to click three times to change channels. It also doesn't go back and forth between sets 1 and 2 in this mode, it does that, but then has 2 other "mixes" thrown in. So it has 4 modes vs 2 if that makes sense.

regarding battery typical Olight using proprietary battery not the standard just like in PC work Dell/HP/Acer etc using their own proprietary connector/layout etc

Hi, I am trying to decide if I should pick up the mule or use a Stellar with lantern or bounce it off the ceiling. I want to use it as a indoor light in 1800K. What I don’t know if I place the mule on a table if it blinds me and therefore must be placed higher than my eyes. What are your thoughts? BTW love your videos!

Can a name be set for each program? It would be a lot easier to NAME each program. This would make it a LOT easier for family to use this charger. Instead of Program 1, I would use AA-Eneloop, Program 2: Energizer AA, Program 3: Eneloop AA, etc. This removes a lot of the potential oopsies for family using the wrong program. An auto detect and use program based on chemistry after a timeout would be great as well. Detect NiMh or NiCad then charge at 500mah after no program selection for 15-20 seconds.

I don't understand why nobody is mentioning that the clip has two positions built in. Sure the main position between the clip and the flashlight body holds stronger, but you can still carry the unit with the top down using the outside portion of the clip. Works just fine.

I got one of these from AliExpress at your suggestion. What I noticed was that normal 21700 flat top batteries (molicel P45) will not work in this flashlight. They are just not long enough. I had another 21700 that was a few millimeters longer and it worked fine. Also included was a short barrel that apparently will accommodate an 18350. Should anyone want to use one of those. Lanyard and clip were missing from my shipment.

I did it just like you said, how ever it doesnt seem to be staying, it goes right back to the same hight as if i didnt do anything... yes im clickin save settings in the probe. you explianed it great. just doesnt help me right now :/

Il faut toujours prendre une batterie de 21700 pour bénéficier d'une bonne intensité lumineuse et d'un flux constant. En-dessous, les lumens baisseront sensiblement au fil des minutes. Les lampes frontales équipées d'une batterie de taille 21700 ne sont pas nombreuses. Si ce n'est le poids, elles n'ont que des avantages.

I don’t see the point. If doing this is so great then why do lights come factory domed? I’m somewhat colorblind, so different tints and shades are pretty much unimportant to me. I just want my lights to be bright.

Sometimes you "Need" a flashlight. Other times, the flashlight has certain percs, that makes you need it.... And I'm a flashlight guy so.... (Also work nights)

5 lumens may be really bright for Moonlight, yes. But since it's a floody light, it doesn't have a lot of Lux, so it's not really as bright as it seems 🙈

How is it possible that a 5+ watt (tested) laser will look and perform nearly equal to a 1+ watt (tested) laser? I would not expect to see triple the output but having watched you test it and seeing the results, could it be that the watts, as it pertains to the power as performance aspect is insignificant and so some other test needs to be performed or did i miss something? I saw you burn a box with the green and the blue but i didn't catch if you tested side by side. It just baffles me how one tested at being 3 to 4 times higher in watts performs identical in test.

I made the mistake of buying a fenix light and it’s not nearly as bright as advertised so I got worried about buying lights and so many companies claim such high lumens but it barely projects any light. I’m trying to find a front and rear bike light, headlamp light for work, a flood light for work and a edc light

If you could share some good videos with me I’d really appreciate it or some advice because I’m new to buying lights. Just spent 2 years living on the streets and I got off the streets less then a year ago so I’m just trying to buy all the things I need again and lights are at the top of my priority list at the moment and I’m worried to buy the wrong light again. I paid $200 for the fenix light and I was pretty disappointed. The flashlight store I bought it from refused for me to return it after they told me I could test it and if it’s not upto my standards they would return it. So I’m kinda worried to spend a bunch of $ again that I should be saving to kickstart my life but I just need flashlights after living on the streets with no lights for 2 years
