I wish manker would make more lights. The UI is really amazing, great quality, good drivers. I have their mk38 with sft40, that thing is a beast, have found nothing quite like it on the market (except maybe a wuben A1) This is a great light but id rather carry the weltool if im honest, i might still get this one because its extremely fun and unique but not for edc. They actually have a quad emitter light, the e14 i think. Its like a d4v2 but with reflectors and it has the same battery tube system. Great Stuff.

I thought you were about the olight baton turbo lol just kidding. This one’s in a whole different class and a pricewise too.

A good emitter for the MC13 would be the SFT70

Amazing review. I'm between Perun 2 mini, Fenix 50, Perun 2 and Fenix HM61.... I saw a lot of issues with Fenix, so I will go with Olight, but still evaluating Perun 2 vs Perun 2 mini.

God I wish I could do this. I would replace all my LEDs with FFL emitters. I hate that so many companies I love don’t offer their emitters, they’re the best imo.

Hey, I used Birchwood Casey aluminum black marker on mine :) I blacked out the chips and the "CCT 5700-6700K" text :) mine is the glossier retro stripe one, I did my buddy's matte black original arkfeld and the aluminum black marker made the finish a little glossier where I used it, so be aware if you have the marker version!

Poor CRI and 6000K are huge dealbteakers for me and this light is much longer than what I would want to have on my keychain. To each their own I guess.

Why did they use micro? Why? It just doesn’t make any sense at all and the only port that I’ve ever seen that eventually fail every time and stop working is micro USB so no matter how good this light was I wouldn’t never buy it. I’ll wait for version two.

Interesting assessment. I echo your keychain light philosophy as well. The quick release mechanism explains the odd look at the end. I fear it can still disengage in your pocket. Just a thought but if the release direction was reversed and the made the body flush, I think that would still retain functionality with added safety.

How's the parasitic drain? I have a few 10180 lights and they all have awful drain. Dead in a month only using once or twice.

The QR makes this much taller than it needs to be. I don't need QR on my keychain FL and value the smallest size. It has to be micro bc I'll reverse the pocket clip and count on everything laying compact as possible inside the pocket. I've found the direct connection of an internal non replaceable battery way more efficient than the recharge maintenance of a tiny replaceable cell. Micro cells present to be more practical being replaceable but in this size and application are antithetical to realistic long term use.

I haven't found a keychain light that beats the Sofirn SC01

Is the lens on the Baton glass or plastic?
