And today, you can just go into your app, #settings#starlink#tilt# and choose "flat" and antenna adjust it self in flat position 👍 no drilling is needed !

Get you a lead testing kit and check all that brass for lead. China and some of the other Asian companies use “dirty” materials for their manufacturing. I don’t believe it is on purpose to kill folks, but I have tested some China / Asian copper and brass that checked positive for lead.

Looks like I paid the perfict price for mine... free. Just missing the charging cable... can't find a replacement. Anyway, can you please give me the output values of the two working prongs? I'm considering making a replacement cable.

I would definitely keep this truck. You made a smart choice buying it, and it will be a very important valuable asset to you when you will need it because you can definitely go places that other vehicles can’t, and as for a smaller vehicle if I had to choose would definitely be Toyota pick up trucksbetween Toyota and these army trucks, they are quality that you don’t get in Ford Chevy Dodge

Well, it may be overkill but I would rather have it and not need it and need it and not have it. I will tell you that’s a dream vehicle for me and you did great looks great. Good luck with it and by all means keep it don’t sell it and keep it in running condition, you never know when the shit hits the fan👍👍👍

Does the pole motor have to be disconnected at a 90° angle? Reason is we can mount the dishy flat but pole is on angle.

This is the machine I cut my teeth on as an operator at the young age of 13. Dug and installed miles and miles of water lines, sewer lines, for private and municipal contracts with the backhoe attachment. Without the backhoe attachment I loaded a thousand or so trucks with various materials, and graded hundreds of building lots. I got to where I could de-couple and re-couple that backhoe attachment in about five to ten minutes. All that was done in about 6 years. I graduated to larger and more sophisticated equipment over the years, huge excavators, articulating loaders, graders, D 10 dozers and such. I worked for the same man for over 30 years until he retired. God rest your soul DAD. I'm 70 years old now and I think I miss that old JD crawler loader/backhoe the most. The first time I got on it, it only had 12 hours on the Hr. meter. Seeing this video brought back many fond memories.

Nothing like being left hanging. Having watched this through I find there's nothing further. What a waste of time - the whole interest is in seeing the results, which it appeared were going to be in this video, but no. Not impressed.

Problems I have with the video: 1) no mention of why the bearings were so loose, you didn't the check the bearings and races for wear, 2) you didn't re-set the bearings with a torque wrench, and 3) no mention of a brake inspection

Greetings from sunny France! Thanks for the video, very useful, I just finished looking at the price of new ramps, then noticed some angle iron that I bought and never used. I'll definitely make these. It would be interesting to have the dimensions of the ramp(s) you built. And an estimation of how much load they could take? I was also thinking about a way of ensuring that they stay in place whilst loading. I'll mainly be using them for loading a mini digger on my 1300kg trailer, and since the digger is on tracks it can hop about a bit sometimes. If you have any ideas, I'd be glad to hear about them. Thanks again and take care.

Just Google around. You will see things people are doing. That is the great thing about this country. People innovate to overcome problems. You can suspend the post. You can stop the startup of the dish when it is facing up, then strap it into place there. The motors won't burn up. Lots of ideas.

Maybe for cutting the metal, try using a blade that is only 1mm wide, it will cut much much quicker and will not make the piece so hot. There are many 1mm blades for the angle grinders, made to cut stainless steel.

Why do you need to keep it flat? (Maybe I should keep watching)
@Hucklebrau
@Hucklebrau Жыл бұрын
For mobility. When it turns on, it automatically goes flat. Then it "sniffs" the sky for the best satellite configuration to get the best signal so it can tilt and rotate to get the optimum signal strength. The problem is, when your vehicle/vessel is in motion, that configuration changes and it can point to parts of the sky with no satellites, dropping your signal. Then it re-orients itself to the new direction, then you move and it loses signal again, etc.. In the flat orientation, you may not get the best optimal signal, but you will always get some signal. - So. Flat is the best orientation for a consistent signal that does not drop out.

Thanks. Just wondering? How did you come up with the coordinates 5”x5”? Making for a Sprinter but thinking about installing a switch to deactivate the motors. Cutting post as close to the case as possible and adding a coupling to reattach the original mass when needed. My thought is to be able to use the dish in the flat position while driving or also be able to use in original setup configuration. It appears you were right on target getting access to the motor plug. Good job!

Did you ever on a junk yard go over and against cars to understand the limits against road blocks? It goes steady, but not fast and can push with hits weight, grip and power a real heavy load aside. It might get stuck if a car gets between the first two access in a funny angle, but not for long. They are break through vehicles, but you might want to upgrade the screen and top with bullet proof acryl glass and ballistic canvas. #provos #3%
