I agree about them being faster. I owned an identical one to what he had in the video several years before I got my yfz. I used to beat another friend of mine who owned a yfz while riding my ds. I think he had been messing with the jetting and was way too rich before we raced in this video. He didn’t have the mods for the jetting he was trying to run.

@@calebfiss5844keyboard warriors… the ltr does make more power. I’ve ridden both and I agree with that. HOWEVER the yfz has a longer power band and loves high rpm’s way more than the ltr. There very similar in speed and depend more on the condition of the bike & upgrades Edit: you can see the yfz pulling hard in the rpm’s later in the video. That’s what I mean

yfz450=cam mod, k&n, 15t sprocket, stock shorty, and jetted. ltr450=baffle out, lid off and cherry bomb.

you're right. the ds650 is the most comfortable sport quad in my opinion. those rotax engines are bulletproof.

T-carter D 700 raptors are slow but torque monsters. A 250R can outrun one

They do anything with the connecter between there and Mitchell branch were you straddle the pipes? last time it was almost too narrow to pass on the 4 wheeler

No they havent done anything to the connector. It actually looks like it has slid off some more since the last time I was up there. I've been working on the Rattlesnake Ridge connector which takes you from the top of the world out to Devil Anse Rock and on top of the ridge where you can drop down into Double Camp, Beech Creek, or Thacker from the same ridgeline. Have to get a few more trees out of the way and it will be open.

yeah I'm still riding. They recently graded the road to top of the world so its in good shape now.
