Inspiring msg ! “Then u shall know which way to go since u have never been this way” The Israelites have crossed the Red Sea n the wilderness n have now come to the Jordan. If only they could cross this river the promised land wld be theirs. They are not sure if they can make it to the other side. Then God gives Joshua some very interesting instructions which is applicable to all of us In life we don’t like to try new routes, we prefer taking the route which is familiar to us. God wants to do something new in our lives if we allow Him to. When God gave manna to the Israelites, He told them not to store it for the next day, but they didn’t obey n the manna got spoilt. Let’s examine our lives in the light of the instructions given by God to Joshua. We are living in a very uncertain period of time. During such a time as this God wants to do something new. First thing is to trust n wait for God’s perfect timing. God says to wait for 3 days then cross the Jordan. God promised Abraham a son but bcoz Abraham didn’t wait for God’s perfect timing n tried to hasten the miracle, we are facing the consequences of the conflict among generations, even after thousands of years. Joseph had to wait 13 yrs for the fulfillment of his promise. Abraham had to wait 25 yrs. Moses had to wait 40 yrs. Noah preached 120 yrs before he saw the flood come It teaches us that God’s timing is not our timing. God has promised us that He will come again in glory & He will come. We need to trust His perfect timing n His promises. Are we hurrying? we must wait for God’s timing which is always perfect. The Israelites were waiting before the Jordan not knowing what to do n God tells Joshua I will be with u as I was with Moses Joshua at a young age had the responsibility of leading at least 2 million people. Moses his predecessor walked closely with God like a friend. God assured Joshua that just as He had been faithful to Moses, so will He be with him. When we are in a place where we don’t know what lies ahead, let’s look back n think of the ways God had been faithful to us in the past. If He led us thus far, He will do the same in the future. God is unchanging though times have changed. His faithfulness continues thru every generation. Let’s look back n think how God led us thru the Red Sea situations of our life. We need to stop n thank God for the ways He led us in the past instead of complaining n murmuring during times of uncertainty. Next is to give God praise. Third, God wants Joshua to purify himself before God does the miracle. God is looking for people who are consecrated n sanctified unto Him, people who set themselves apart from the world. People these days have taken sin for granted n they live with it. Cochin happens to be the drug capital of India . God is more offended by the sins of the church than that of the world God tells His people to purify themselves. We need to consecrate ourselves n our families n God will do the impossible. That’s all it takes to cross the Jordan. No one can see God without holiness. God is looking for contrite people who repent. The ark of the covenant signifies the presence of God in the OT. When we are confused, we need to pursue the presence of God. In His presence is fullness of Joy. We must be able to say like Moses “I don’t want to go anywhere, where ur presence is not there.“ Lot chose the best land but not the presence of God so his whole family ended up in disaster, while Abraham chose the place where God’s presence was there & was blessed. The safest place for a child of God is to be in the center of God’s presence. His presence is heaven. Even if the best opportunity is in front of us, we must tell God not to send us there, if His presence is not there. When they were in front of Jordan, they pursued God’s presence so the entire nation was able to cross over. Even though it started with anxiety n anguish it ended in victory. His presence is all we need. Wait on God’s timing, don’t complain instead look back n thank God for His goodness in the past, purify ourselves, pursue God’s presence above everything else. If we follow all these instructions God will handle the crossing of Jordan for us. He will ensure we cross bcoz whatever God starts He will finish. He will never leave anything incomplete. God is the author n finisher of our faith. The priests who carried the ark of the covenant stood on dry ground. We don’t get to pick n choose God’s word. His word is eternal n not to be discussed or debated. It’s to be obeyed. God’s principles do not change. The ark of the covenant was to be carried only by priests. Those who don’t obey God’s instructions will face the consequences n will be wiped out. God’s not asking us to be practical, He wants us to be obedient. The greatest joy is when someone comes to know Christ. That’s when someone crosses over. Even Jesus crossed over from death to life. Those who are dead in sin can cross over frm death to eternal life. That’s the hope Jesus offers. We must bear the weight standing in the middle of the Jordan so that someone else can cross over. Just 2 things will last for eternity, the word of God n the souls of men. Where are we investing our time in the perishable or in the imperishable. Let’s submit ourselves completely bfore the Lord. Let’s ask God to touch our lives in the areas we need to change. If God calls us home today do we know where we are going? Do we have the assurance that when we are absent in the body we would be present with the Lord? Will we be able to stand bfore God in the righteousness of Christ? Will we be able to cross the Jordan so that we can be in Canaan ? We need to seriously think n make our decision.

Ya i was earlier believing in the power of positivity, law of attraction,,,,it's a new trend.. but by the grace of God i thought if i can get everything by this way then what is God for... It helped me to research about it ending up on the knowledge that it's exactly opposite to what God wants from us.
