Modern ceiling fans aren't really air efficient and quality efficient, Even though they are twice the price from a old ceiling fan, an older ceiling fan has better performance and better build quality and powerful motors, like the hunter originals, the problem of Modern ceiling fans they are not built to last and the remote receivers fail and they're incredibly noisy, For a better performing fan, I prefer older ceiling fans.

Soapstone will last like rock if sealed. And cared for. If wood is used, have to redo every 3 or 4 years.

Beautiful! I love how all the rooms shown so far are in harmony with each other. This is an area I'm struggling with in my open concept living/dining/kitchen areas. I don't like open concept at all but my house was bought pre-pandemic with the intent to upgrade later. Now that upgrading is out of the budget, I'm making due with what I have! Can't wait to see the snug!!
