Can I ask why you didn't use the 'Smoothie' setting on the Creami to mix everthing together instead of your stick blender? Smoothie' setting

To tell you the truth it was the beginning stages of me using this machine and I think I have more control using the blender instead of using the smoothie setting. 😊

I’m so sad I missed this! I subscribed a few days ago because of your slow cooker cubed steaks! I did have a question when you had a chance…..I have to buy a new crockpot and was considering the Greenpan multi cooker one. I had noticed in the comments you didn’t care for it as a slow cooker. Could you let me know what issues it had when you tried it as a slow cooker. Thanks so much! And I will watch to see if you do a live next Friday! Happy early Birthday!

@@jenjaine3728 Hi, I am so happy that you caught my live even if it was later! The Greenpan didn’t seem to be working at all as a slow cooker. I wanted it so I could sear the meat and the slow cook in the same vessel. It didn’t seem to get hot enough to sear then low enough to slow cook. I haven’t bought it yet, but I was thinking about the one that Ninja makes for a multi cooker. But for just a slow cooker I like the ones I already have. I’ll find it and send you the link. Thank you for subscribing and watching ❤️❤️

Stephanie -- you are playing my song! I feel exactly the way you do. I sometimes do a video. A lot of time I just cannot get into the kitchen and stand in front of the camera cooking. My freezer is full of food and I can't make anymore recipes for a while. I'm trying to do one a week now but we'll see how dedicated to that schedule. You look amazing! Mom used to always have a bacon grease can (old coffee can) by the stove and used it all the time. I love the way you cook. You and I learned how to cook the same way. And, we always can cook with having to make changes, additions, and subtractions. The youngun's nowadays don't know how to cook 🙂

Hi Stephanie -- I've been going through your old videos. We love collard greens and while we don't eat meat, your IP recipe looks so delish! Did I understand you that you gave the greens 30 minutes cooking time? Thanks!
@StephaniesKitchen

Yes, it only takes 30 minutes. You can use mushrooms, onions, garlics, and a finger pepper, vegetable broth and seasons. The mushrooms give it the meat flavor. My friends used to make his collards that way and they were delicious.

Like you, I am an experimental cook and I often prepare my ice creams right in the Creami container like you do. (Otherwise, I prepare them in the food processor.) I often end up with too much. Since I insist on respecting the fill line (because I want my machine to last a long time), I pour the extra into any old freezer safe container and freeze it. We never finish the whole container at once, so I defrost the extra and add it back into the container before I respin it another day. Works great. A couple of things I have found: if I add the guar gum to the granulated sweetener (be it monkfruit or sugar) and mix it well, it dissolves much more easily in the ice cream mix. Also, kudos for pouring the salt into your hand before adding it to the mix. If you get too much in by mistake, there is no practical way of removing it. How did your experiments taste? Happy ice cream adventures.

Guys dont buy it. It is emnensely loud. The neigbours are able to hear this bloody thing. I innacurately asumed that it would have an element of churn mechanical chilling centric silence instead i got a very loud horsepowered blending machine. The cooling element entails the operator freezing the content or freezing the cups before use. Ive packed this thing up and put it in my car ready to be dropped off at the local Salvos here in Melbourne Australia. A very frustating experience ive effing chucked $300+ at this thing only to recieve a screaming mechanical kid......and it screams for 4 minutes. Save ya money. Just get a godamn cheap blender. Go to the store and buy pint if icecream. Stupid Thing is Overated. Im feeling pretty angry.

I'm so sorry you have had a problem with the noise made by the Ninja Creami. I agree, it is quite loud. (I've had mine for a year now.) I find it no louder than a lawn mower which my neighbors also hear. Run time is about 4 minutes which is much less time than a lawn mower. I wish I were at the receiving end at Salvos. I hope you find the ice cream machine of your dreams sometime in the future.
