my compressor in attic is a portable small one it has wheels on one end but other end comes with rubber cylindrical feet to keep it from moving and vibrating when on so if i put rubber under the wheels it would probably be very quiet the feet on mine are pre made to go into holes in legs maybe you can just order rubber feet like mine has

interesting valves i have compressor in attic but it is just manual it has cord to valve and i just plug it in I plan to add a manual outlet but an automatic valve would be nice.

And what about combining the balls and the pads???
@AdamsLab
@AdamsLab 7 күн бұрын
No point, the pads are as hard as the plywood floor, they don’t do anything to abate vibration transfer.
@slashsplat
@slashsplat 7 күн бұрын
The existing bolts are a big part of the problem. They will transmit the noise right into the floor. Eliminate them. Or try the balls... Cool automatic valve. I am using a derale tranny cooler to cool the air before it hits the tank, with two water removers in between. This prevents most of the water from even getting n the tank.

how would a tranny cooler prevent water from getting in the tank you would have to refrigerate the air going in to close to freezing through a large heat exchanger to get rid of moisture before it goes into the compressor basically what a dehumidifier does but you would only lower percentage of moisture not remove it all and you compress hundreds of cubic feet of air going in to fill tank so most people put cooler going out from compressor so they have dry air for tools and dusting parts.

Your verbiage implies that there is deception at play, but there is not. This is a very real, and somewhat unique project that I'm working on, and I’m genuinely curious to see if people can guess (or know) what it is. Of course I want people to participate by offering their guess (or if they know, their assertion) about what it is I'm making, but there's noting malicious about that.

With the footing and the relatively shallow trench I’m guessing it’s some kind of pole that requires electrical. I would say light pole but normally mounting hardware is sunken into the footing and it’s mounted above grade. So are you putting treated lumber on that pedestal? With utilities? Haha.. I’m stumped.

“Fatal flaw” No… maybe a flaw (to some), but a regular tape measure can’t do 1/10th of the convenient things the T1 can. Nothing is perfect, but at least admit when something is a good product. This is like Porsche building a revolutionary new car, but the heated seats don’t heat up fast enough for you so you call it a trash car. Maybe I’m reading you wrong, but sure seems like you are basically calling this a trash product. Which if you are, is CRAZY.

It’s a basic thing that thy got wrong. It’s annoying to use the thing, and on top of the other issues it has, at the price they sell it at, it’s a dud. (FYI, I have a longer video where I talk about the other issues.)

Great video, are there specific instructions on how to handle the HID bulb itself? The manual says you can get an electric shock if not handled correctly. Suppose it's true and also another way to get you to pay $200 for a newly installed bulb. What did you do to avoid getting shocked? Maybe the latex gloves is all that's needed, thx
@AdamsLab
@AdamsLab 2 ай бұрын
I wouldn’t do it with the car on. Other than that I think the risk is pretty low. You do want to wear gloves to keep skin oil off the bulb as that could damage it.
