@StefanMcMahon you get a damage buff if your super matches the weapon inside a well when using sanguine alchemy. So since it's a stasis GL, you need to switch to get the buff.

Hey 👋 it's possible in this clip that there was more than one moth that ignited when you jumped down, or perhaps one of the modifiers of the GM that killed you. If that's not the case, I'd just like to point out that the Arc resistance armor mod doesn't defend against the AOE explosion damage of the moth, as the two are calculated seperately. If you're interested in a bit of advice though, damage resistance mods are basically useless and a waste of good chest armor slots. When you do the Damage resistance calculation, even 3x arc resistance mods only give you around 9-15% extra resistance towards arc damage, dependent on what other forms of damage resistance you have at play. In order to actually survive stuff like this, you need to factor in alternative damage resistances into your builds, that cover all types of damage; like void overshields, Woven Mail, and frost armor. These will significantly improve your likelyhood of surviving these high burst damage moments. Restoration doesn't do anything if you're dead, so damage resistance is key. @Immortal_Mentor the big issue with liminality is the modifier. Otherwise I'd be using a stasis scout to collect frost armor, but thats not feasible with oscillation. I also have other videos of getting 1 shot by moths with no chance of having a second damage instance. To me, that's poor game design. Some random bit of damage just floating around that can one shot is just not fun to play against. Hell I've been one shot with AOE resist, 100 res, AND emergency reinforcement all on the chest. The splash damage buff should combine with the moths, all other damage i can live with, just the moths are ridiculous. I've been one shot by a moth while finishing an enemy, the moth literally came from the knight i was finishing. This is the only GM so far this season i haven't soloed, so that's why I'm irritated by these unfun examples.

@BlizzyBlake1185 I agree, for something like a moth, it needs to be able to be countered, for example, Cursed thralls are kicked away from the player when performing a finisher, preventing you from being one-shot. So the devs recognised that explosive enemies need counterplay, but they didn't apply that same philosophy when designing the moths. It's certainly frustrating.

All they do is dirty work, giving gl to the stasis dread psion for example, putting a taken phalanxs as a boss in the lowest ground available arena in the malfeasance quest, putting 2 high explosive damage witches while farming in grasp, etc. Its their way to show that they hate us without telling us they hate us. Next thing they gonna do is to put the nuke bane on the mere end of an area
