This discussion has been inactive for a long time, but I've got a V-60 that will only play on the Clarinet setting. None of the other instrument settings work. Does anyone have a suggestion on how to fix this?

not amazing, honestly. definitely NOT transformer based, and the inputs distort way too easily. more of a creative tool.

my volume pot crackles a bit when increasing or decreasing the volume then it stops after I set it. do you what it could be?
@thenormanconquest8 ай бұрын
that's a classic dirty pot. get some Deoxit or other contact cleaner, take it apart (outer case off), get as close as you can to the pots, spray it in there, twist the pot (MANY times- maybe 50 each direction), and should be good to go

Cool back in time review 👍 This brings back GREAT MEMORIES I actually had this mixer, I could not afford the Gli and Urei mixers back then, I was in Junior High school and wow back then we worked hard saving for records and equipment. 95% of DJ's starting out in the early 1980's had either a Radio Shack mixer, a Numark mixer, or a Gemini mixer, respect to all the other brands. But these mixers were used to refine our mixing and scratching skills. Gemini had some serious mixers out, the echo was the big deal for them, let along the VU meters you felt like you were an engineer lol. Nothing beats these mixers ask any DJ of any format and they will say at one point and time they owned a Gemini mixer, holy crap to get the faders to glide we had to use WD40 or hair clipper oil lol, and of course you learned how to solder. Those were the days 👍👍👍👍👍

I have a Realistic SSM-2200 which is identical. Just a re-branding. I removed the Delay circuit for the IC's. Wired thing to keep the mixer functioning and donated it to a local youth music workshop. Those Delay circuits are reason enough to grab one of these if you find one. It uses one MN3101 and two MN3007's. You can build yourself a BOSS CE-2 Chorus. With the remaining MN3007 you can get yourself a CD4047 (easy to find) and build a EHX Small Clone. Or you can just contact me and donate the IC's so I can build those pedals and give them to local musicians. Recycle old unwanted gear and help out struggling Musicians. Especially with old school gear as it is generally far better than the cheap stuff being sold today. 🧡

WAAAY over-rated. It's a good "tick-tock" box for the background, but as a singular source of drums? WAAAY too weak, and just never sounded that good to begin with. Vintage-mainia has elevated a lot of things to a status they never deserved.

The album Journey by Arthur Brown's Kingdom Come was the first album to use a drum machine on all tracks instead of a live drummer. They used the British version of the FR-1, the Bentley Rhythm Ace. Well worth a listen. One of the best psychedelic rock albums ever IMO.

Hello ....Sorry but I am not agree with modifications on these Wonderful Rare and Famous Vintage DJ Mixers. Nowdays there is so many cheap mixers to do the job for all the needs. These old school Mixers want care and restoration to have it in use as is or for demostration. Many "old school" DJ lovers collect, service and use these Mixers as is. I have some "old school" mixers like this and i still use them. The 8200 i don't have it, but i have the 7200. Sorry again for my comment....it's kindly my opinion. Of course i will not give a Dislike in your video, i am not such a guy.
