IS IT JUST ME or does it seem like they’re sabotaging/ throwing the set? Could this be an extension of what Noah mentioned when he said he wanted to include standup comedy in his act?

Could you imagine forming a band and you ask your gf to play bass so she learns the instrument just to play with you and then you get invited to open for your fav band and then a member of that band steals your girl and now she’s playing in his band.

@ in an interview rivka (spirit bassist) said she didn’t start playing music until their band (formed by her bf). The band is named after the film that I would bet $ they learned about only from the centipedia list released in 2012 as the band didn’t form til 2014). Would also bet them pursuing music was heavily influenced by hearing ac’s sound as that happens to so many. They go on tour with ac in 2022 and soon after noah & rivka are revealed to be dating. And now she’s hitting samples and singing on tour with panda bear. Good for him and good for her, I’m just saying it must be such a hard blow for Zack.

I’ve listened to Defense more than anyone should. This recording is pretty good. I understand waiting for an album but I will say this doesn’t seem to reveal it all. And of course all kinds of oldies are in there. It’s great.
@pauldavis73187 күн бұрын
@@johnpietz3391 I don't see how these 4 songs don't reveal these 4 songs as they will sound on the album. The album will probably sound very similar considering that it's a stripped down band-feel sound on the album as well, even though Panda did the instrumentals himself. I like Defense but I'm glad it's a closer...it definitely works best as a closer, otherwise it's not super remarkable among the Panda oeuvre.

I follow you since my father went ill and said good bye to this world. I was offered his same life but I chose continue living this one and keep on being myself. Today I got a lot of doubts I have in myself but I m sure that ❤ everything will be okay some time post, I love when I remember you and you are all dirty because of your job. I imagine I have to make the love to you and I feel okay.

I never met Steve Albini. We never talked. I never saw Shellac in person. He had no idea I existed. But Steven Albini has had a bigger influence on my life that most of the people in my life. He was kind of a dick in his younger days, I reckon if I actually knew him then we would not have been friends or even friendly acquaintances. But his music and the music that he helped bring into the world and his ideas on art and music and being true to yourself have had such a massive impact on who I am today. I never met Steve, but I loved that dude and it feels like I lost a close friend.

Agree the album is great, super unique and she has a really cool voice on record. Live, though, you can tell she’s inexperienced in terms of performing in a band context. The whole thing sounds like a muddy mess, but I wasn’t there and it might just be the video.
