Spec sounds good, but you should have gone for laminated liner- it will get cold when the outer gets soaked. 500D is just the abrasive resistance. The waterproof coating will weaken surprising quickly. Ask me how I know LOL

I found the waist a bit tight for the sizing stated so going up a size would be a good idea. Obviously the hip armour makes the waist a bit tighter as well. However the leg diameter fits quite well so that might be a bit baggier if you size up. I did also find the knee pads sitting a little too low when standing but they seem OK with a bent knee on the bike. The fabric is a bit thinner and softer than I expected. I always have problems getting a good fit with any trousers so maybe I’m just not an average shape! Overall they are a nice change from my armoured jeans and I like the sand colour for the summer months.

Great clip. However the name Desert Rats has a very specific meaning in both New Zealand and Australian Military history. I’m not sure that using that phrase is appropriate as a title about an indulgent jolly video about motorcycle riding in the desert. Arguably the title is disrespectful to those soldiers.

They're short I'm usually a 34 34 and I had to send the 34s back as they were skin tight, got the 36 and the waist is giant now, but with a belt they are wearable. I'd say the 34 34 fit more like a 30 30 and the 36 is like a 36 32
