i went from doing graphic design to doing a MLitt in science fiction lol, and now I am trying to plan everything out to do a PhD i had to write a mini essay of 2000 words saying what i thought science fiction was since I was going from art to humanities that cassowary watercolour is gorgeous!

thanks for sharing this. a ssomeone who considers grad studies at some point, i'm often curious about what people's portfolios look like. this is honestly the first grad-level portfolio i've ever seen. people mostly just share the portfolios that get them accepted into their bachelor's programs.

I've never seen coloured mechanical pencils before! I'm going to have to pick up a set. Hyenas are so cool, so underrated! I really like how expressive the sketches turned out with the coloured lead. Thanks for sharing your process and artwork with us :)

Awesome image :) you can also do this with the filter-offset tool which will swap the four quadrants for you

Aye I know, thats a good way to do it as well :) I just thought itd be simpler this way for people who may not have as much experience with photoshop yknow!
