Apologies in advance for the clunky run-I haven’t played abyss on mobile since I finished all my 5.2/5.3 recordings before the holiday break, so I kind of forgot what to do! The Pyro Archon is here and she is incredible! I always have concerns about claymore DPS characters when you completely lack any crit weapons like I do, but for reaction-based carries like Gaming and Mavuika, Mailed Flower’s EM and passives can make up for a lot of missing crit! I did this build quickly so her crit and ATK stats aren’t optimal-with the Obsidian Codex passive crit R is passable but still challenging. When she crits though… wow, she hits hard! Over 600k nuke against the hydro consecrated beast in Chamber 1, and she’s hit 550k nukes against the stunned Wolflord. Unfortunately it took me a while to remember NOT to use Bennett’s skill automatically after burst as you don’t want to remove the pyro aura, otherwise Mavuika can’t vape! On the first half she’s not great against the three pyro resistant enemies, but she still does well. On the second half, I wanted to see if Neuvillette electro-charged could do well. Thanks to the addition of Kazuha, we still get buffing as well as increased damage from this relatively weak reaction. With Kazuha’s burst up, the Tenebrous Papilla is no match for us! In chamber 3 you can really see I’m out of practice when it comes to mobile archery, but the first half depends on a lot of good RNG so I opted not to reset. Note that the ATK buff here is better for Mavuika bc I have high EM and low ATK on her build. If you have the opposite, the EM buff would be better!

I love playing Neuvillette Burgeon, but I wasn’t sure if it would be able to shield skip against the Wolflord. Luckily, I was able to pull it off with carefully-timed rotations! The only thing risky about this team is that Neuvillette is the only healer, so against the Wolflord you may want to swap Furina into healer mode (also to control the rate of damage). For the second half, I wanted to feature Kokomi. I haven’t used electro-charged on the second team yet, and originally tried this with Ororon. However, this team just lacked enough firepower and we weren’t able to full star chamber 1 although the other stages were fine. Reluctantly, I switched Ororon out for Xilonen since she increases team damage by a pretty crazy amount. I think I should’ve experimented with a Healing Bonus circlet on Kokomi rather than HP, but I forget every time!

Last cycle I discovered the amazing power of C6 Diona Fridgebloom and wanted to use this team again, but for the second half, this posed a challenge. Without a Nightsoul character, you really need double hydro hyperbloom to break the Tenebrous Papilla’s ward, and by definition Fridgebloom cannot run double of any element. Layla comes in clutch, as her skill and burst constantly blast the enemy with cryo from off-field. The actual damage doesn’t matter, since we just need 74x elemental application to destroy the ward. Therefore, I opted to run Layla on Diona’s Instructor build + Favonius so she can just fully function as a support, buffing the team’s energy and EM. On the first half, Lynette combines forces with our MVP duo of Furina + Xilonen to shred resistance and swirl electro-charged. While I would’ve liked to use Lynette with her new granny bff Faruzan, we either run into the problem of no healer if we use Xilonen for geo (leaves only Furina as crystallizable element), or no geo if we use Xianyun. I opted for Ororon as she hasn’t been featured on an electro-charged team yet, and this team comp still warrants exploration. Note that I forgot to refill energy at the end of the first half of chamber 1, leading to a slow chamber 2 start since Furina’s burst wasn’t ready to use. I did refill energy at the end of the second half of chamber 1 though, as this is pretty critical for breaking the ward in time.

For the last video of 2024… we Qiqi again. Can we Qiqi every cycle? So far, yes! This Qiqi team is similar to the Xilonen Mono Hydro previously posted, but it trades Kazuha’s AOE for Qiqi’s freezing ability, which is really useful against the consecrated beasts. As this team is more single-target focused, it also does better against the other bosses. Is this Qiqi team… kinda cracked? Either way, I recommend you try it! Both Qiqi and Xilonen hold Favonius Swords so that energy levels are up up up! On the second half, I’ve been experimenting with Neuvillette teams. He worked great with Ororon, but what about not having the Nightsoul effect? Dehya and Collei were a fail, but Fischl’s rapid electro application comes in clutch. Just be careful in the last battle against the drake to avoid deploying Oz before Fischl needs to shoot down the weak points, because somehow having Oz on field messed up my shot every time! She accidentally got a Favonius Warbow which wasn’t intended, but it works-it probably helped keep Neuvillette’s burst up which is a plus.

I discovered last cycle that Yanfei Vaporize is a surprisingly powerful team, since it can do both single target and AOE damage, so I decided to give it a try here. It really worked very well! I didn’t get to test too much and see how close we would get to a shield skip, but I’m pleased with the results. This time I did remember to give Yanfei a little more EM by swapping around a few pieces. I need to finish leveling her for better damage next time! On the other side, I wanted to try out Neuvillette. Burning and bloom variants are both effective on the Tenebrous Papilla’s ward, but I didn’t want to risk it, so I added in Ororon for guaranteed ward-breaking, archer capabilities, and Cinder City buff. Technically this team is a bit weird because it is either operating as a burgeon team, or as an electro-charged team. You could put Ororon on a full EM build to try and maximize hyperbloom damage, but it’s still best to keep him on Cinder City, and I don’t have on-set EM pieces available for testing.

I almost always do a Mono Hydro run each cycle, but typically using Kokomi. Because I didn’t have the patience today to slowly pick at the wolf heads, I opted to run the Xilonen variant instead. As always, this is a very effective team and a great choice if you don’t have Neuvillette as it essentially does the same thing as a Neuvillette Hypercarry team. Hyperbloom + Ororon together can quickly defeat the Tenebrous Papilla’s ward, so I cobbled together this team. Not too bad at all!

After playing around with Xilonen plunge and also having done Ningguang’s run, it’s Noelle’s turn in the spotlight. Usually I use Noelle with Favonius, but for better personal damage from her, today I have her on Whiteblind. This is actually some pretty decent F2P damage from her so I’m quite pleased-the team is actually quite powerful enough, though with Gorou and Kachina both holding Favonius, they have to be carefully swapped in for battery purposes. Still can’t wait for Gorou’s C6, that’ll take this team to the next level! I attempted to use Kachina’s Twirly Whitley to break the wolf heads, but ended up finding this to be too clunky. On the other side, Xilonen works as a great Nightsoul-aligned option to break the Tenebrous Papilla’s ward, so since she wasn’t needed on the first half, I moved her to the second team. Double healing and double Favonius makes this team a breeze to

I was able to rerun DPS Plunge Xilonen on a crit card to better showcase her damage-routinely hitting 87k plunges is pretty nice! Now I will definitely plan to triple crown her… can’t wait for her rerun to get her C2 as well. I also re-recorded the second half and now can’t remember why I had so much trouble using the Nahida variant instead of Kirara. You can see that the damage output is much better with Nahida, with the total recording time 32 seconds faster than the last one, thanks to a combo of crit card + Nahida swap! I decided to post both versions as this one is a better showcase, but the first one shows that this can be done without Nahida.

That’s right folks… DPS Plunge Xilonen is back! In previous cycles I ran her on a Marechaussee Hunter set with HoD and Kachina carrying Cinder City as support, but in my mono geo run against the Marble Statue, she was on her normal kit and dished out over 100k normal attacks on a stunned enemy. That got me thinking… how about just putting her with Gorou instead? Kachina is pretty clunky when enemies are mobile, and I tend to get stuck on her Twirly Whirly, so Gorou is much easier for me to play. If you have his C6 I think this is her best plunge team, so when I get his last constellation I’ll be sure to try this team comp again. Anyway, I think Plunge Xilonen delivered a solid performance, routinely getting crit plunges over 80k, which is not bad when she’s also on her own support build! Unfortunately plunge teams are super clunky to play on mobile, and the consecrated beasts are an absolute pain. The best way to get them both is to get them against the wall, but I wasn’t able to do that in this recording. That’s because Alhaitham gave me hell on the second half. Chamber 1 was so difficult to record on mobile it was unreal. I mentioned in yesterday’s recording that someone kept getting one shotted when I used Alhaitham on the first half, but he kept getting staggered on the second half. While I originally did this run with Nahida when I tested on PS5, I just couldn’t clear chamber 1 on mobile, so I had to switch her out for Kirara, unfortunately losing a lot of DPS in the process. Energy is also an issue with this team as Alhaitham needs so much on-field time that it’s tough for Yelan to regenerate her own energy to keep her burst up. All in all, a big challenge run for me on mobile!
@GamingWithRaine
@GamingWithRaine 8 күн бұрын
If Nahida Hyperbloom works, Alhaitham has to work, right? Well…. Yes and no. It works, but the technical aspect of Alhaitham’s gameplay is much less forgiving when it comes to your rotations. While Nahida Hyperbloom operates on a quick swap rotation, Alhaitham requires careful planning to maintain Shinobu’s skill uptime as well as balance Alhaitham’s skill and burst cooldowns. I found this team weirdly frustrating to play on mobile. I didn’t have too much trouble test playing it on PS5, but mobile was an endless struggle fest of getting one-shotted or stuck between enemies in chamber 1. I’m really not sure why this was happening since I did the mobile version about an hour after the console version and changed nothing. Anyway, while Alhaitham can dish out a ton of damage, I was unable to complete a single cycle shield skip with my budget version. I am pretty sure a fancy Alhaitham with his signature weapon should be able to do it though. Compared to Nahida hyperbloom, where you’re using Yelan’s burst or Xingqiu’s rain swords and can reach the Wolflord in flight, Alhaitham Quickbloom can’t hit the boss as well once it gets up. He is also doing a lot more raw dendro damage and making less blooms overall due to lower hydro application. However, his skill/CA are really handy for breaking the wolf skulls quickly, so I got to demo that at least. (Note that I recorded this a while ago so I can’t remember if I tried a non-single cycle shield skip lol)

While I’m sure that the Neuvillette Hypercarry team with Xilonen is a no-brainer this cycle and isn’t too interesting, I did want to show that it works great with an all 4 star second team. Now that I finally have Fischl’s C6, we are able to run this team much more effectively. This team can be more forgiving to play than Raiden National because of the double healing, but I find that you’re also more prone to knock back and getting staggered. Because Raiden isn’t on this team, Xiangling gets The Catch back (Favonius would be overkill with 3x pyro), but I kept her ER sands for consistent bursts. Btw, did you notice my aiming got better against the Aeonblight Drake? The secret is to move back early and prepare to aim so you can fire off a shot immediately. When using Yelan, you can use her skill to quickly dash back to the enemy, or use Fischl’s burst. Try not to back away too far to reduce the distance you need to aim from and run back to.

Ok, now that I recorded one shield skip, how about another? How about a no geo shield skip run? I’m bringing out my best team-Nahida hyperbloom with double hydro, and sure enough, they can definitely deliver! I remember seeing a tip that you need to set up your burst cycle really early for the Wolflord, and once I learned this tip, my damage output got significantly better. For the second side, once again with Raiden National I need full bursts going into chamber 2, so the chamber 1 time is slow as I painfully refill energy… bear with me!

I have recorded a LOT of runs today with Raiden National on the second half, and wanted to see what I could do to switch things up. I decided upon trying Neuvillette Bloom on the first half, which I’ve never tried before, but is quite good. The second team features Ororon for an aggravating electro-charged dendro bonanza. It’s great in chamber 2, but is not nearly as fast as a normal hyperbloom team in chamber 3. Therefore, I knew that attempting the shield skip on the Wolflord was the way to go. I actually have done a few shield skips today, and depending on your team’s firepower, you may find it better to bide your time until he does his third attack (hopefully dash & smash), or to unleash everything during the second attack (always laser beam). If done properly, this can be very satisfying! Bloom and hyperbloom teams will essentially fire missiles at the enemy, giving you a little more leeway after he gets up to dish out damage.

Yes, freeze still works, and I’m on a mission to freeze every abyss cycle! I’ve seen people use Ayaka on the second half but not the first. Last cycle I happened to stumble upon this team comp with Xilonen that allows me to run Shenhe and avoid the annoyance of chasing enemies around that won’t stay in Kazuha’s burst. The new Calamity of Eshu event weapon is great and I really enjoy using it! I’d say the main challenge of this team comp is just making sure you get both consecrated beasts in one spot and weave in Ayaka’s infused dashes and Shenhe’s skills to keep them frozen in place. Of course, the classic team pairing for Ayaka Freeze is Raiden National! This team still rocks it every cycle!

Following the same formula as the first video, this time our damage dealers are Keqing & Ororon. Compared to the Ningguang team, this one has better AOE coverage, though the enemies are prone to moving out of range, and Keqing lacks auto-targeting on her burst. Still, it’s a solid team, and one I’d definitely recommend if your Keqing is better than mine since my build is still lacking in crit. I’m actually really glad that I could make this work because Keqing is finally getting some use the last few cycles! On the other side, we swap out dendro resonance & shielding for more hydro power, which is very nice. Hyperbloom is a great option for the second half as it applies elements extremely quickly, making the Tenebrous Papilla much safer to tackle than using a method like Raiden National. Once again I opt to use Yelan more on field as her normal attacks are so rapid, we can apply a crazy amount of hydro!

I basically love to bloom everything bloomable, even crazy hydro immune bosses like the Tulpa, so naturally I had to run bloom for my first no-geo clear! Nilou’s skill is super useful here as the ring deletes the Qucusaur tyrant’s flame things, and the combo of Nilou’s skill, Yaoyao’s bunnies, Furina’s goons, and Nahida’s NA does a decent job of removing the wolf heads. As I’m unable to do a full shield skip clear, the trick is to deal as much damage during the laser beam attack as possible (can’t do it during first attack or he will shield up early) so that you can single cycle him when stunned. To boost this team, I swapped Yaoyao to Dehya’s Gilded Dreams set so that her blooms have double the EM stat. Add the EM share from Nahida’s burst and Yaoyao’s own EM buff from her C4, and her EM becomes quite formidable! I believe it ends up getting buffed to over 1000. On the other side, you may notice a slow chamber 1 clear-that’s because I’m focused on refilling energy. You really need full energy facing the Tenebrous Papilla and I don’t want to take any chances, so I spend the end of the chamber getting ready for the next boss, and just in time! Although the clear against the first two vishaps wasn’t the cleanest, I kept this in anyway. Note that for energy issues, Raiden’s team is actually running double Favonius (Yelan and Xiangling), and Xiangling also has an ER sands… we are taking zero chances with these rotations!

Well, this abyss cycle is a bit tricky, to say the least. After several days of testing, I’ve managed to come up with 6 clears, and only 2 without geo. Because of the difficulty this cycle, I will remove my usual restriction of running unique teams only so I can show as many clears as possible. As the first half this time is slow-ish for chambers 1 and 3, I’ll be recycling fast second half teams in the recordings. With that said, my first recording is the easiest clear not using Neuvillette/Xilonen. I’m really glad I gave Ningguang an upgrade last cycle, because she’s great! This is the first time I’ve used her with Furina, and the Furina/Xilonen combo beats Bennett’s circle impact by a long shot. Highly recommend this team if you have never tried it! Note that my choice of leaving Xingqiu on Noblesse is perfect for this team as the ATK buff is just what Ningguang wants! On the second side, a shielder makes things far easier to not waste time getting staggered, and Yelan’s rapid attacks really helps you do as much damage as possible. While I typically play on-field Nahida, on-field Yelan with some skills and bursts from Kirara is definitely the way to go! Note that going into chamber 2, you will want full energy on team 2 so that you can be sure to break the ward in time, so remember to refill your energy before moving on, or just go back and get the last star on chamber 1 at the end.

Here’s a little extra bonus video! I’ve wanted to do a full 4 Star clear for a while but haven’t had any luck until now. Luckily, thanks to C6 Fischl and a built Collei, we are rocking! The main issue is only one 4 star hydro except Barbara, who needs to be on field to apply hydro, and Candace, who I haven’t tried. These are pretty solid teams, and I have a feeling this will be the easiest abyss cycle in a long time, so I’m not sure when it might be possible to do this again! The only caveat for this run is that the Hyperbloom team would’ve been better with Collei on Sacrificial or Favonius. I gave her the Stringless for personal damage, but Xingqiu’s rainswords had some awkward downtime that would’ve been solved with a team battery.

Whew! Wrapping up this marathon abyss cycle with my 20th video… and featuring Qiqi! I really wanted to get her in, but didn’t want to repeat the same teams as last time. After racking my brain, here she is playing the on-field driver for an electro-charged team! I tried this with both Ororon and Fischl, but Ororon was better for energy issues, especially when using Sacrificial Bow. On the other side, I wanted to do some creative things with Collei burgeon, but ran into problems with the Tulpa. I had no luck with playing Tighnari, so I opted for a trusty favorite-Nahida Rainbow, but this time using Yelan. This team just deletes enemies and works on any element, making it a highly versatile team to play. I am using Xiangling on a high Favonius build, but with Nahida’s burst and her EM stat, she triggers some nice burgeons in addition to vaporize!

Xiao? Never heard of him. But I do have a little catgirl dealing anemo plunge damage thanks to the adeptal power of Xianyun! It’s definitely a pain to aim plunges against the consecrated beasts, but Lynette’s Bogglecat Box and Furina’s goons combined make sure that we’re constantly dealing off field damage as well! Check out that chamber 3 clear time! On the other side, now that I finally have C6 Fischl, this classic team comp becomes viable. I’ve run Ororon in place of Fischl, and used Ororon to substitute for Chevreuse, but I’d say this variant is the easiest to play just because the energy recharge and healing uptime are both constant, making it far easier to not worry too much about rotations or dodging!

Neuvillette’s C1 is here, and now it’s time for solo and duo challenges! While I’m pretty good at dodging, it’s beyond my abilities to effectively play Neuvillette C0 against consecrated beasts, so now we can just stand there and water cannon everything to death. Water is a powerful thing! You’ll notice some awkwardness at the end of the rotation and that’s because I’m conserving energy to start the next chamber with full bursts. On the second half, I wanted to stick to a restricted team, but the need for an archer and a healer made a duo run impossible for me. Luckily, hyperbloom here to the rescue! Nahida and Shinobu are a powerful duo, and Yelan not only adds a ton of damage, she’s also holding a Favonius weapon for energy!

Finally, after 782 days of playing… I managed to C6 my Fischl. We won’t even talk about how many primogems I dropped on the Prinzessin, but instead focus on how her additional 2 seconds of Oz uptime and coordinated attacks now unlocks significantly more team comps for me! Alhaitham can already easily handle the first half, and Kirara is his best partner here as Alhaitham can get easily staggered without a shield. Kirara’s C6 would be even better as she can buff elemental damage, but we make do. On the second side, Keqing is back to try Aggravate again, this time with C6 Fischl by her side. Honestly, my Keqing build is very mid, and she needs a lot more Crit Damage, but I did make a small improvement in her Crit Rate so there’s that. With Nahida and Xilonen, Keqing’s Aggravate damage is pretty decent, but note there are a few mistakes in the recording that led to suboptimal rotations. Unfortunately, the Hydro Tulpa messes with the Aggravate reaction and turns it into electro-charged and weak hyperblooms, making chamber 3 less suited for Aggravate, but it’s all good. Who needs Clorinde when you can just Keqing everything?

I’ve wanted to play Freminet in abyss for a long time, and this run features both of my Fatui siblings! We already know that Lynette is killer at C6, but even Freminet does quite well here even if he’s buffed by my best supports. Despite the consecrated beasts being resistant against physical, I still kept Freminet on his physical build for fun. Please ignore the low crit stats, his Pale Flame set rolled terribly despite being double crit! He is a useful addition here as we know that Freeze teams do well against the consecrated beasts, and we also know that cryo can help bloom teams make more blooms. Where this team really shines is in chamber 3, where Freminet’s cryo also helps to trigger some healthy melt reactions on the lava goons. In terms of gameplay, I mostly tried to keep Freminet on his physical combo, but sometimes I messed up and ended up with his cryo combo. Honestly a full cryo build probably would’ve been a better choice for the team synergy, but I wanted to give physical a chance. I’ll be leveling him up some more, so look out for more Freminet in the future! Lol at my Yelan aiming this run though 😂😂😂

I have really been enjoying my C6 Ningguang, but I wasn’t enjoying her 37 crit rate on her previous build. Finally, I was able to fix her build and swap in a Crit R circlet instead, giving her a solid 67 crit rate instead. Taking her for a spin this cycle, she works great partnered with Xilonen, because using elemental attack + Xilonen’s skill, then swapping to Ningguang helps ensure she has a crystallize shield up ready to go! I originally did this run as an Over-rock team comp, with Ororon in the last slot as I didn’t want to play Bennett’s circle impact against the consecrated beasts. However, I needed a faster clear on the last chamber, which really wants hydro… so I ran with Yelan instead. Note that when Xiangling is the solo pyro, I either run her on Favonius, or change her build to an ER sands/Crit D circlet. On the other side, Alhaitham is back, but I swapped in the trusty Furina + Yaoyao duo. Looking for my archer? Luckily, one is unnecessary, as Furina and Yaoyao can both reach the Aeonblight Drake while you wait for the body core to become active so a Hyperbloom can take it out. Thus, the Furina cheese method works again!

The addition of Ororon is a big boon for Keqing, as she now has a premium Electro-Charged team that’s almost as good as her Aggravate team. Since I still don’t have C6 Fischl despite specifically going for her on the current banners, Ororon is the obvious choice. Honestly this team is a lot of fun to play, because the quick energy recharge due to double electro keeps the rotations pretty clean and brainless. I think this would be a fun one to play against mobs! Fischl is a better choice to support Alhaitham, and in my prioritizing of lesser-used characters, I somehow forgot about recording him until now. Note that the rotations at the end of the chambers is specifically to reserve energy for the next chamber, hence they feel a little clunky… there’s a reason!

Many may not know that I have a triple crowned Hu Tao sitting around. I’ve actually cleared Abyss a couple times with her, but I’ve never recorded it on mobile, because I hate playing Hu Tao on mobile. I had some trouble executing plunges properly without accidentally gliding, and in the last chamber I finally remembered that you can also weave in regular NA/CA in between the plunges. TBH I’m not really sure about playing her, because I can’t tell the difference between a NA and a CA on mobile, and the whole animation canceling thing is a headache… Anyway, as I was writing down the stats, I also realized that by swapping things around for the last few runs, Xingqiu ended up with the wrong circlet, so his ATK is a bit lower than normal. Whoops! On the other side, Kazuha National takes the field. This one is even harder to not accidentally get vaped against the Tulpa, and I had cleared this a while ago so I had forgotten how it was done. Finally, I remembered that it’s all about Bennett + Xiangling, and you don’t really need any other characters on the second side-just try not to die! Both Kazuha and Yelan can buff damage with their bursts, but using them too often increases the risk of sudden death lol.

A long time ago, I built Heizou halfway (lvl 70, lvl 6 talents), but for some reason or other I never used him and stopped building him. With my newfound success with Faruzan, I decided to use her with Heizou to see what they can do. Unlike my C6 Lynette, my Heizou is only C3, so I had to level up Faruzan and unlock her A4 passive for this team. The second half is also pretty gnarly and it’s so easy to get one-shotted, so this was my trickiest run by far. To make up for Heizou’s weaker status, I gave him a VV set with high crit, and Ningguang’s R3 Widsith. I had to quickly learn how his Declension stacks work, and then adapt it to mobile where the difference between NA and CA is much tougher to pull off. I was able to do my clear on console with Heizou at 6/9/6 talents and borrowing Tighnari’s Wanderer’s Troupe set, but had to level talents and swap artifacts for the mobile run because it was significantly harder. Still, this is soooo satisfying! To keep with the theme of 4 star DPS characters, I used the trusty Gaming Vaporize team on the top half. Note that the damage is a lot better with a Crit or Skill benediction card, but I had to take ER. I also accidentally swapped out Xilonen’s Favonius Sword for the recording, making the top half significantly slower than it needs to be as I’m spending time refilling energy. Otherwise, this team can clear every chamber in under 1 minute!

I often play Lynette in Abyss, but she’s really more of an on-field support, providing energy and swirling capabilities to the team. I’ve wanted to test out her anemo damage ability and test her out as a hypercarry for a long time, but I never built my Faruzan, who was one of my earliest 2 C6 characters. For this run, I fully intended to use it for testing purposes only, so I just slapped on a Tenacity set and threw her in without leveling Faruzan or her talents. Surprisingly, because she needs so little on-infield time at C6, she did just fine and was able to survive the entire run even with Furina draining half her HP! Even at level 20, her buffing is pretty sick! I think Lynette’s damage potential is pretty great, but I chose to use Marechaussee Hunter in this video as I didn’t have a Crit R circlet to give her. After swapping things around for Heizou’s run (coming up next!), I realized that I can do a full VV set and use an off-set circlet. Note that Iron Sting R5 is the best weapon I have available for her, but this team works best if Lynette herself batteries with Favonius. Stay tuned for another Lynette Hypercarry run in the future! On the second half, I chose to use Layla, who is rocking Favonius to battery the rest of the team. This is similar to the C6 Diona Fridgebloom variant, but Layla’s super sturdy shield makes the second half super easy and comfortable to play!

Kaeya’s talent levels are on the lower side, but he’s using Ayaka’s weapons and artifacts. Surprisingly, this team works quite well! If you have Furina and Xilonen without premium freeze characters, this is a really accessible and easy to play freeze team! For the second half, I wanted to do one of my no-archer runs. Neuvillette can already hit the Aeonblight Drake on his own, but hyperblooms also have the potential to hit the weak points and stun the drake quickly.

I wanted a creative way to show each character’s strengths, rather than simply slotting them into already-strong teams. Barbara is a bit of a challenge, but I am happy to discover she works great on a Burgeon team with Furina! She provides hydro resonance, healing, and by using the Instructor set, she can constantly buff EM since she’s either triggering reactions with her skill ring, or as the on-field driver. Give this one a try, it’s a solid team! The second side is my trusty Xilonen National team, which I used in my first clear. Xilonen is the best choice for survivability and battery when it comes to National team comps, so she’s great against heavy enemies. Note that Yelan’s burst still buffs elemental damage of the other active characters, so remember to use it when available, even against the Tulpa!

I decided to wait for the banner flip to see if I could C6 my Yaoyao or Fischl first-I was able to get Yaoyao, so I did this abyss team that features everyone except Heizou! Yaoyao’s C6 makes this Nilou Bloom team even stronger-the only thing missing is Furina’s C2! This is the first abyss cycle I’ve been able to use Nilou Bloom on both sides, and I’m very pleased with my investment in this team. I originally did this run using Ororon as the electro archer on the second side, but changed it to Fischl to fit the theme of the banner. This is really two teams in one, since there isn’t great synergy with the rotations of all 4 characters- you either play Kirara Hyperbloom/Aggravate, or you play Neuvillette Electro-Charged. Note that you can absolutely just use Neuvillette against the Aeonblight Drake without bothering with the archer method, but I forgot to do it on this run. Shinobu doesn’t really work well with Neuvillette’s range, but we need a healer against the Tulpa, so I couldn’t sub in EM Raiden. This would be better with Fischl’s C6 but it’s not too bad as-is!

It’s been a while since I played Yanfei in abyss, but I’m on a mission to use as many characters as I can, and vaporize works quite well this cycle, I figured why not? While Yanfei’s charged attacks are a bit hard for me to pull off on mobile, she works amazingly on this team. I’m kind of motivated to improve her artifacts so she can run this again! I didn’t bother to move things around to give her more EM, but she would be better with higher EM and Crit R. On the second half, I wanted to bring back Dendro MC. With a Gilded Dreams build on Traveler, this team is actually completely sick, and is probably the best possible hyperbloom team without using either Nahida or Alhaitham!

İ am a Yanfei main and İ also play on mobile. İ really like playing her and İ mastered some of her animation cancels without even trying. (İ played her so much that it happened on its own.) Tbh you played really well and İ always like when İ see people play her. Outside of vape teams she also performs well ın Overlord teams and sometimes burgeon teams. She is flexible and İ would like to see you try those. Anyway really nice clear❤

@ Thanks so much, that’s encouraging to hear! I’ve been playing her for a really long time, I hope it doesn’t horrify you to hear that I only recently discovered she’s supposed to use her CA, because I would spam burst, skill, and NA indiscriminately-everything but CA! Oops! Do you have a Yanfei Burgeon team comp you recommend? I can look into giving it a try! I have tried her on Overloaded teams but without C6 Fischl, it didn’t work too well using a Pyro DPS instead of Raiden due to low electro uptime.

@@GamingWithRaine For Yanfei burgeon go all on em on her. Use Nahida and any hydro applicater you want. For the last spot, since burgeon can hurt your chars a little either go for a healer or a shielder.

@@ilyasadiyaman9452 I did a little testing and might use this team in a future cycle. Thanks for the suggestion! I usually burgeon with Dehya since she’s fully off field, but this team is different, better when you also need to deal pyro/vaporize damage instead of pure burgeon

I was just playing around to see if Mono Geo would work this cycle (I had already tried it on the second half with no luck), hence the benedictions chosen don’t really benefit the first team much. I tried the DPS Xilonen version first but had better luck with Kachina and on-field Noelle. Since Yelan has my only leveled up Favonius Warbow, Gorou is borrowing the only leveled up Sacrificial Bow. You’ll see me double-skill him specifically to regenerate energy, though this wouldn’t be necessary when using Favonius. As the benediction this recording day was an EM buff, I picked a second half team that could benefit. I’ve done a ton of hyperbloom variants on the second half, but Charlotte seemed like a good choice here. Her normal attacks are super fast, so combined with Yelan, she can deal a good amount of damage. The additional healing also helps since we don’t have Kirara’s shield!

Since I don’t have C6 Fischl, I’ve never used this classic Sucrose Taser team comp, but thanks to Ororon we can give it a try! Playing with no healer and only partial shielder against consecrated beasts is a real challenge, but I’d say this team is pretty decent, though better against multiple small enemies or bosses that don’t move-it’s definitely tricky to execute against moving enemies. Beidou serves as the battery on this team, and Ororon is able to provide both the Cinder City buff and his electro-charged hypersense damage. It’s not the strongest team in my arsenal but I’m impressed they made it through unscathed! Because this team is a bit slow, I paired them with Nahida double Dendro hyperbloom, which basically deletes enemies. Yelan is on Favonius Warbow as she needs to constantly keep up her burst for hydro application. Note that using her burst against the Tulpa is actually a good idea so she can buff the active character’s damage, and sometimes I deploy the burst simply to help through a big hit!

C6 Diona’s EM buffing ability comes in handy on two team comps in particular-melt, and hyperbloom. Technically fridge works as well, but I haven’t really tested that yet. Her ability to buff EM and heal really synergizes well with this Furina Hyperbloom team comp, and the first half is nice and fast! On the second half, since I don’t have C6 Fischl, Ororon makes a great stand in on Chevreuse’s Overloaded team. While Ororon doesn’t do as much personal damage as C6 Fischl, his ability to enable the Cinder City buff, apply off-field electro, and generate particles makes him a great choice here even if the team comp doesn’t work with his electro-charged passive. I’m having a great time using Ororon on multiple teams, look forward to more soon!

Nilou Bloom teams have been in a situation similar to Freeze teams lately-good for one side of the abyss, but impossible on the other. However, given that I’ve done 20 runs so far, I know that the Tulpa is easily beatable even if you bring a hydro DPS on the second half as long as the other characters can do the work! This led to me wonder… can Nilou bloom really take out the Tulpa if it’s immune to both hydro characters, effectively leaving you with only two dendro to do damage? Actually, this would be simple if I used Dendro MC or Yaoyao as they both have strong builds, but there is also the problem of needing an archer for the Aeonblight Drake. This only leaves us with two choices-Tighnari, who needs to be on-field, and my unbuilt Collei. Thus, I dusted off my Collei, gave her an artifact set designed to balance damage and survivability, and off she went! I’m shocked at how good she is. Despite needing to dodge like crazy, I managed to pull this off twice, once on console for testing and once for the recording. Looks like it’s time to finally build Collei! Note that I originally did this run with Kokomi on her normal OHC build, which is much better for team survivability, but for the recording I changed her to Gilded Dreams with a balanced HP/Hydro/EM ratio. Either works, but I’m inclined to stick to normal Kokomi when she’s the only healer on a Nilou Bloom team. If playing her with Yaoyao or Baizhu, go for the full EM build!

Kokomi is back, and this is our fastest ever run! Both teams easily finish in about 1 minute, which is a record for me. I didn’t realize that several characters this cycle had IT buffs, which definitely helped. The other trick is definitely to use Favonius weapons on each team although they already have pretty decent ER. On the first side, I swapped in Xingqiu instead of Yelan since an archer is better on the second half. Since Xingqiu has better rain sword uptime than Yelan’s burst, I actually prefer this team comp! On the second side, Yelan takes National to incredible heights. Notice that I use her on the Tulpa stage even though the boss is immune to hydro-this is to battery the team, especially Xiangling, who runs super low ER (could’ve tried with my new ER sands but I legit forgot about it), and to buff damage with her burst up. All in all, pretty impressive with no Nathan characters, Neuvillette, or Nahida on this run. Go team go!

It’s been a while since I had a new video here, mostly because I was waiting to upgrade my device! Hopefully the video quality now is much better than before as I’m now recording on an iPhone 16 Pro. While I’ve been experimenting a lot with Ororon teams, today I am sharing a new Freeze/Melt play through featuring some new additions: Ayaka is on the new event weapon Calamity of Eshu, which is amazing on her if you can trigger a shield. Luckily, crystallize shields count! In this run you don’t always see the shield up, but normally this isn’t much of a problem. For the second side, I recently got Diona’s C6, and have been having a great time trying to use her to buff reaction-based teams. I also learned that Melt Rosario is better with a Gilded Dreams set, so she’s borrowing most of the pieces from Alhaitham. Despite the fact that Diona is only using a half-leveled Instructor set, survivability isn’t much of an issue here, even against the Tulpa. I’m still very new at mobile aiming but am hoping to be able to put all my archer runs where I successfully snipe the Aeonblight Drake!

Finally, wrapping up this abyss cycle with the obligatory Qiqi run! In my experience Qiqi functions best with Furina and Yelan, since I don’t have C6 Fischl. Against heavy enemies that can do a lot of damage, Qiqi’s freeze abilities come in very helpful! On the other side, I leverage the burn vape team, which is actually extremely effective. This is one of Neuvillette’s best teams without Furina, and his C2 supports add a lot of additional damage. It’s interesting to be able to play Dehya both as a burgeon trigger and an off-field pyro applicator using the same build, and I hope to find more uses for her in the future! Note that when given the option, I prefer plunging with Kazuha over Dehya. We can’t afford to take any unnecessary damage as Neuvillette is the team healer!

On the first half, here’s a fun vape-focused variant of the National team leveraging the Furina-Xilonen synergy. The double healing between Xilonen and Bennett is helpful against tanky enemies and builds Furina’s stacks quickly. However, I really just ran this team so I had a way to create a good Beidou team for the second half. Beidou is great for chambers 2 & 3, but since I don’t have C6 Fischl to pair with her, she is a bit limited in her team options when there are so many enemies to deal with in chamber 1. I gave Beidou an ER-focused build and Favonius Greatsword to battery the team and ensure she can keep her own burst up. However, I definitely had some challenges plunging with her the day of this recording and I don’t quite remember why!

Xilonen really did give a hand to lift up geo characters. One of the most fun teams I played recently was Noelle, Xilonen, Furina, Yelan. The synergy among each character is fantastic and it does very good damage. Xilonen really did give me the push needed to bring out my Noelles strengths.

This is the first time I’ve used Charlotte as an on-field driver, and she works pretty well! I was surprised at how effective this team is in chamber 1 and didn’t expect such a good clear time (can get this in just under 1 min). She works very similarly to Qiqi Coolbloom, but provides constant cryo application at the cost of less personal damage compared to Qiqi. The other side is our classic Raiden National, which can really handle everything while dishing out insane DPS. Two straightforward teams that rely on a ton of ER for bursts, it’s best to choose the ER benediction as early as possible.
